Wait. He's diving and rolling on balls now? Is this man actually going to be ready day 1?
Dude is tough. I don't know about day 1, but I'd bet he's back sooner rather than later. I'd say stick with non contact drills for a few more weeks at least.

Shouldn't play until he can safely catch a ball up high. No reason to rush a labrum injury.

I’m going to be Catholic for a moment, but please watch your use of God’s name like that.

Thank you.

As easily as you can mention that this forum is about ND sports, someone can mention that ND is built upon faith.

Always happy to allow plenty of freedom but it doesn’t mean you can’t be mindful.

We don’t need every disagreement to disrupt a thread. Takes nothing to be courteous. Move on.

Wow. That shows how much they think of Diggs

I hope so, although the whole #3 tradition kind of got forgotten after BK took over. Floyd was the last legit player to wear it and be completely dominant on the field.

I bet it has more to do with him honoring AD, and yeah it just happens to be his old number. But if it is best player related, RTDB!!! Let’s Go!

Seems a bit harsh. Diggs had the highest carry average among all backs in 4 games last year: VT, Virginia, Navy, and OSU. Kyren was obviously our best back by a good mile, but Diggs was pretty good for a freshman.
I'll gladly take my lashings if I'm wrong, but I don't think Diggs is even remotely special. This season will be interesting -- some good reports on him recently plus an improved O-line and dynamic QB. If he's going to have a breakout, this is the time. Hoping to be wrong about him.

Great extra effort by Diggs and Big Fish here.

I re-watched the game last night focusing on #54 quite a bit. He has a few moments where he seems to be done after his block, but overall he's beginning to stay engaged in the play until the whistle blows. That's Harry getting through to him.

He still looks like he's trying to get back into the swing of things after missing all the time rehabbing. I'm hoping with another week we'll have a lethal 3 headed monster at RB to go into the stretch run.

Serious question....do I need to pump my brakes with the optimism after watching Saturday lol??

Looks like it was his man who blew the play up, though Diggs loves bouncing things outside so who knows, Fisher could have been doing his assignment correctly.
Maybe just me, but looks like Sherwood is the one who got beat. Lugg turns inward and Fish looks like he was trying to seal the edge. Lead TE just couldn't clear and Diggs bounced it outside. That's the way I see it at least
