I know we're being told -- even from the man himself -- that everything is fine and that he has straight As but I cannot shake the feeling that something has gone off the tracks somewhere. We'll see. I have no inside info on what may or may not have happened so we'll just have to trust the process right now.

1) He is taking Spanish 3 this year.
2) Admission letter going out tomorrow.

Soooo.... I think we can put the conspiracy theories to bed? I've still got PTSD from 2010-2012 era recruiting though.

Honestly, 3 years of Spanish was not hard. I don't know how anyone having trouble with that can be academically successful at Notre Dame.

It's not required or pushed at some schools. A buddy of mine's HS in Texas limited enrollment past 2 years of language because of resource constraints. If you know you're going to ND, then you should be on top of it, but it's not always part of the plan freshman and sophomore years so kids have to scramble. Not necessarily an issue with the difficulty of the class.

Any chance Spindler, Coogan and everyone else got their acceptance letters and he didn't... and he just freaked out, maybe after calling up to campus and not getting an answer good enough or quick enough to dispel his fears? Maybe that's how Stepp found out? I don't remember or never knew how that unfolded but I'm sure Blake does.

Anyways, like Nuke said, something happened even if only in his mind. Unless he was just. . . nope, nevermind. He's not from SoCal.
