The SEC is trash, that is all.
I would say no. They didn’t look like one of the best 12 teams the last half of the year.Chips down. Did Bama earn the right to be in the playoff?
Thank you for the honesty. It was more than the Auburn game.I would say no. They didn’t look like one of the best 12 teams the last half of the year.
My order of preference;OK - Preface this to say I hate the SEC. And Miami. And I don't like all four....all have serious downside.
With that said, I'm routing for Ole Miss and Oregon. Go Ole Miss - Fuck Lane! And Fuck the second best team in Indiana.
I simply can't cheer for Miami. I live in southeast FL....their 12 fans are insufferable. And it would be a kick in the nuts for Indiana to win.
OregonMy order of preference;
Indiana
Ole Miss
Oregon
Miami
MAC has a serious hard on for Indiana. lolOregon
Ole Miss
Miami
Indiana

The IU fans around me are nauseating. Three years ago they would routinely pack their stadium with 10,000 fans. Now they think they’re a blue blood. I’m all for parity…just not with IU.MAC has a serious hard on for Indiana. lol
I’d take IU winning it over the others. Oregon is there simply because of Nike money. Ole Miss is SEC and Miami is Miami. Besides, It doesn’t tarnish ND in any sense.
I said it before, year three will be the year we know if what Cignetti has done is sustainable.
I always thought it was 16 then again the last time I watched the FCS was in the 00’s when the SIU Salukis were in it and I don’t think they ever got a bye then. Could’ve just been a different time in the playoffs or maybe my Dawgs just weren’t in a position to get a bye.FCS has 24 teams. 8 byes.

I have no feelings about IU. They aren't quite on a level to hate yet. They are like a Northwestern or something for me. They got a good coach, had some good years. Usually suck, so good for them. Idk, they just don't move the needle much for me. Overall happy for them, I guess. I would be celebrating like mad if my team is usually pathetic, but they have caught lightning in a bottle for a minute. Cig won't be there forever and they will go back to being Indiana. They should enjoy it while they can. Would ND still beat them? I think yes. Probably like a 27-17 type game again, but this one closer than last year. The IU fans around me are nauseating. Feels like Miami should be a bigger favorite imo.Seems reasonable if a little skewed toward the underdogs
This got me thinking about what the format will likely be - It should be a 24 team playoff with 8 SEC teams getting automatic buys and a guarantee of 4 others in the field. If 12 SEC teams aren't represented, it's not possible to determine the best team.I always thought it was 16 then again the last time I watched the FCS was in the 00’s when the SIU Salukis were in it and I don’t think they ever got a bye then. I agree. Before Ole Miss won vs. Georgia I had Miami as a 6.5 point favorite against Ole Miss.Feels like Miami should be a bigger favorite imo.
I am on board with all of this.I'll go the unpopular way: I'd like to see Miami crush Mississippi (I don't think they will because of the QBs mobility, but I still think they'll win.) So why? This I believe is obvious: A.) It eliminates the SEC entirely from any media defense that any of their teams were really good. They were "Good", yes, but "REALLY Good"?, no. That to me is still very important in college football for HUGE numbers of reasons, including Transfer Portal matters. B.) Miami winning over The SEC states further that Notre Dame should have been in. CLEARLY.
As to the finals: I'd like to see Indiana win it --- I have nothing against their coach, and I'm a big fan of their Center, and I don't think that would harm our recruiting.
I’m on board for the same reasons, but I think Miami wins a close CFP championship game. But I also can see IU winning it.I'll go the unpopular way: I'd like to see Miami crush Mississippi (I don't think they will because of the QBs mobility, but I still think they'll win.) So why?
