Cignetti is growing in me. He is a full on psycho mode. I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t even have a cell phone, just an 8mm film reel in his pocket at all times.

Indiana is literally last in the B10 in the 247 talent composite. What he’s doing is unprecedented. It doesn’t make any sense.
I'm willing to be called a hater or whatever, but this doesn't pass the smell test to me. There is at a minimum, Harbaugh's Stanford roid regimen going on there, if not something else. Cig is a great coach, no doubt, but yeah something is rotten in the state of Denmark.

When Bama was dominant 5 years ago the term “skull dragged” was in vogue. We have to dust it off for a bit.

Deboer’s trees are gonna need a 24-7 security detail after that performance.

You could see the roids with Coogan. That pimpled face isn't puberty

I really think even us haters underrated how crap the SEC has become.

Well, I would maybe argue that for all the obvious reasons, the SEC team lost their advantage and now there's just more parity all around CFB.

Additionally, a well-bankrolled GM type role, team, and approach is becoming very important and key to a team making a successful run at a CFP Championship.

And a strong AD who understand this doesn't hurt either - I recall reading that IU Scott Dolson has been instrumental is helping to drive the IU Football transformation, understanding how important spending top NIL money for game-changing talent.

They controlled the narrative about Miami and ND when as much as I hate Miami it should’ve been both. Bama getting in was the real injustice. But last year they complained about bama not getting in and ND made ESPN look stupid beating their beloved SEC champs so they pressured the committee to not let it happen again.

It has continued all the month of December highlighted by Finebaum's (and really ESPN's) idiotic, misguided and full of shit argument focus on Miami deserved to be in ahead of ND because if H2H win, ignoring that Alabama (and really OK) did not deserve to be in ahead of ND actually. This has all been a distraction from this real highway robbery story. Finebaum even being so audacious as to note all the “Notre Dame writers and bloggers and pundits and influencers and fans” who chastised Alabama for struggling early against Oklahoma before the Crimson Tide came alive and won that CFP game. Yeah, that's because OK also sucked and it was really not that much if a comeback win as even more evidenced by today's blowout results. SMH.

Paul Finebaum want to ‘see Miami win it all just to shut Notre Dame fans up’

All planned by the committee. They gave them a guaranteed second round and a guaranteed semifinals.
Yup. The positioning of Bama, OU, Ole Miss, and UGA in the bracket was strategic to maximize the SEC's chances. OU and Bama were the two weakest P4 teams in the field and they were paired together to ensure one of them moved on. OM, a team with the worst P4 defense in the field, was given a rematch with Tulane to ensure they would move on and rematch UGA.

I think either Oregon or Miami gets them. Probably Miami if I had to call it.

I said right before the CFP started that I do think Miami can win it all, not with complete dominance of the CFP, but with a strong D (anchored by their monster DEs) and just enough offensive firepower and talent to get it done.

I'm gonna call an IU / Miami championship game where Miami wins it all in maybe a close one.

As much as we hate Miami, I think it helps with our ND got screwed narrative and helps to motivate The Irish for 2026
(And I would really hate to see Cig win it all before MF does.)

He wants to be the next Seacrest. Unfortunately for Jesse, he’s not anywhere near as likable as Ryan.

I agree but Jesse is a warmer type of personality and someone you just can't hate.

He's a nice guy, altho' I hated to hear him spew the same ESPN Miami should be in over ND like all the other ESPN drones.

I really think ND and Miami were the top 2 teams this year. Miami played badly for a month, but when you watch those two teams, they are different than anyone else.

100% agree - There was about a month there when Miami looked like they were gonna take the annual Hurricane nosedive into CFP irrelevance, and the committee was right in de-ranking them during that span.

They did in fact look a lot better going into the final 3-4 games.

I can respect that. And for the final time to all the idiots out there too slow to follow…it wasn’t about Miami. It was about ESPN using the H2H as a distraction as they (along with the CFP) gaslit ND the entire process until the final poll. They wanted everyone focusing on ND vs Miami (who both are two of the top teams in the nation IMO) so fans would be distracted when OU & Bama continued to rise in the polls. Good luck to your Canes. As long as an SEC team doesn’t win, I can live with that but I think UGA is the team to beat.

Again, 100% in agreement, but I will say that I'm still not sold on GA being as good as many think they could be (i.e., winning the CFP).

I'm not sure they're gonna get past Miami (assuming they will win tonight).
