How’s recruiting looking for the 2025 class?

Majority of the top 2025 recruits are undecided right now. The highest ranked Rivals player with a verbal is 16th and committed to Providence. These guys are also in season right now and recruiting will pick up in spring going into summer.

This is a healthy amount of offers.

Gurdak, Haralson & Robinson seem to be the top targets from what I’ve gathered from what little info is out there.

The team hasn’t had many pure Centers since then. Garrick Sherman was half way decent, not great.

As far as 4s playing center, you have Harangody & Jack Cooley that were great. Tom Knight, if I remember correctly, had a stellar senior year & Mooney.

Year 4 Auguste is up there

They're very good at home, just knocked off Duke and they're undefeated in their own barn.

I believe only three wins combined on the road and in neutral sites. Still a solid win, easily the best win for the Irish this year.

Burton is such a talent. Excited to see him lead this program for the next couple of seasons. I think the ceiling for this season was to see better basketball in February than December, and that's exactly what we're seeing. Very bright future IMO.

We all knew this year was going to be a struggle. But like you said the improvement week in and week out is what we had hoped for and that’s what we’re getting.

The past few games ND is starting to gel. Burton isn't playing like a freshman and Booth looked good vs Wake.

It just makes me a little nervous with the transfer portal to fully buy in, but if coach shrews can keep the spine of this team in tact and continue to add through recurring and portal adds this program has a chance to be something to contend with in a year or two.

My buddies and I paid $57 to sit courtside at the Virginia Tech game. ND is like 5-1 since we sat down. I'm not saying we deserve full credit but this run cannot be explained by science.

The nice thing about Markus Burton being below 6’0” is that he’ll be around awhile. You get a kid like him that’s 6’4” and he’s one and done and a lottery pick.

This season is turning out just like Penn States last year. A strong momentum improved team at the end of the year.

Portal should be favorable to us we are “returning “ eight guys who play but they all aren’t good. If some leave we can upgrade (only have one scholarship to give as it stands now). We will probably see guys at the bottom of the rotation leave that’s just the way it is these days.

Wins in 5 of the last 6 games is really impressive and right now this is a team I wouldn't want to play.

The interviews with Burton and Coach Shrews after the game were very humble.

Coach Shrews has this program going in the right direction. Very excited for the future.

Certa might be the scoring guard and Mohammed is expected to be an excellent big guard who can handle the ball and pass. So that leaves the big as the major need. Probably need two unless you think Njie will become something that he isn't now.

Bottom of rotation would pry be JR at this point of the guys that can return. I don’t really see him transferring. Wade could transfer I guess but he came here as a walk on I’d say he’s gonna finish his degree. Outside of that I honestly don’t see anyone transferring but maybe that’s just me.

Some clutch FT shooting from Tae down the stretch. Burton and Booth were excellent, Zona with some big buckets in the second half as well. Fun game!

Looking at the NIT participants from last season, its looks like we have a 0% chance of getting an invite this year even with this late season impressive run. Two straight vs top 25 Kenpom teams is great.
Unfortunately, no team with a losing record was invited in 2023, so we probably don't stand a chance.

Regardless, it will be fun to watch this team participate in the ACC tournament next week.
Certainly, wasn't thinking that this time a month ago.
