Cormac Ryan is a Duke killer. 31 points and 6 3s tonight at Cameron. Dominating

I hope it is not the case but it almost seems like Shrews is phasing out JR. His minutes are going way down after a strong start to the year.

Wasn't he hurt for a bit? Anyways we've pretty clearly been playing better as the season has gone on so all trust in shrews for me.

Hot start offensively for the boys against Georgia Tech on the ACCN right now. Burton with 13 early, everyone shooting pretty well thus far.

Burton and Shrewsberry both look like the real deal. Excited to have these guys around for a while.

Coach has this team turned around already before seasons end. Impressive

I thought for sure when they called that BS lane violation Georgia Tech was gonna win on a 3. Never a doubt indeed!
We were up about 13 and I took a brief work call; hung up and it was a 2 point game. I was so shocked

5 minute stretch where the press just completely rattled them but to their credit they figured it out. Some really bad turnovers that came out of just sloppy, lazy play. The two MVPs for me were Shrewsberry and Njie. Shrews hit shot after shot and Njie was near perfect from the line while fighting for some big boards.

Woofy. Hey a win is a win!

Bailed out by those two GT dumb turnovers at the end there.

Nice win, stayed composed as things were falling apart. And the two freshman guards were a big part of why they stay composed. That bodes well for the future.

There were a few calls late in that game that I thought were pretty ticky-tacky. Particularly when George for GT was attacking the hoop on a couple of occasions and I thought Burton did a nice job of remaining straight up on defense, but they were giving him a whistle, anyways.

Sometimes wonder why defenders are even allowed to stand on the court.

Not blaming the refs for the close game at all, just citing a couple of calls late that could really swing a game. Great to see the boys overcome some adversity, though, and live to fight another day.

Irish are scratching and clawing to stay in this thing. Nice half from Booth so far, 3-6 from downtown. Roper adding some nice bench minutes. Burton struggling a bit from the field but 4-4 from the stripe. Wake D taking Shrews away, they're not giving him any room to shoot.

Strength of this team has been defense but it's tough so far this afternoon on the back-to-back, don't think the boys' legs are 100%. Wake can hurt you in so many ways.

Lunardi did have Wake on his list of "Need one more win" so they were probably very focused.

That's a wrap on Irish hoops. It was a very enjoyable month watching this young team grow and compete in the ACC. Very bright future. Go Irish!
They probably won’t be invited but I’d be down to watch the Irish in the NIT or some other post season tournament.
I’m sure the kids are beat and ready to get back to the gym for a little break.
Future is bright alright!

Probably not but don’t be shocked if they sneak into the NIT.

Wade to the portal is important. Zona and Sanders were fourth year guys so they were expected to leave. Wade is a third year guy who doesn't play so his leaving opens up a scholarship we weren't sure we had. We can now get a couple grad transfers. Two bigs would be my preference.

great work by Prister. Josh Cohen would go a long way towards making this a tournament team next year.

My guess is they will follow May to Michigan, but I wouldn't mind seeing ND making a run at Alijah Martin or Vlad Goldin.

Sounds like Cohen would be a nice get. Hope we make a good impression on his visit.

Connor Essegian 6’4 shooting guard from Wisconsin entering portal. ND type of kid and from Ft Wayne. Avg 11.7 as a freshman and then didn’t see floor much as soph. Odd.

This tweet seemed to sum up many of the Wisconsin fans feelings on Essegian. Although many tweets from Wisconsin fans used as an opportunity to vent about their coach.
