This Ryan Beasley from San Fransisco is a heck of a player, guard. Freshman too.

Surprised to see he is only averaging 7 ppg & does not start.

Shrews, get on this kid. Has a brother on the team that will be a senior. Not as impressive stat wise but can’t hurt.

Don’t let ND get hot going into March….

Joking aside, nice to see this team win 3 in a row and absolutely dismantle this bad Louisville team
I was joking last night as well, "put us on the damn bubble!"

Definitely sweet to see this young team growing in confidence. Shrews "Jr." was balling last night

Nice win for the team. I was flippinhg back and forth between that game and Duke/UM....what a difference in the quality of BB. Shooy=ting by ND and UL was hard to watch at times.
No doubt, but friendly reminder that this entire roster, except for Zona, should be back next year barring transfers. They're VERY young in a brand-new system. Solid recruiting class coming in, too, particularly with Mohammed and Certa, both should contribute right away.

Definitely how most, if not all of us thought this season was going to go. The offense was almost unbearable to watch a month ago, now they're getting a little more comfortable.

15 would be a miracle IMO. 10 or more is gravy. This year us about setting a culture and making sure Booth and Burton are ready to go next year with the incoming freshman. Year 2 will be better, but year 3 is when I expect them to truly compete.
Booth still needs work, but I stand by this comment. Getting to 10 wins is a massive achievement this year and I think one or two more is possible. What's best is that this team is getting better and better even after their rough start of the year. That's the culture and it's taken hold.

The way they're trending, they might even eek out an ACC tourney win

ND mounting quite a worthy comeback right now from 29 down. It’s possibly their sloppiest game of the year yet on the possessions they don’t turn it over, it’s probably their best shooting they’ve had all year.

ND win's this game if Syracuse doesn't have a 29 point lead.

Great comeback by the Irish, who cares if this game is a loss, the fight this team showed shows this program is in good hands with coach Shrews.

We would have won if we were able to play defense like we normally do. Not sure what happened on that side of the ball. But it’s great to see the team improve. We actually look like a p5 team. Future is bright. Burton is a star in the making.

Syracuse has some guys who can really create their shot and score. (one of them is JJ Starling). Think that's why our D didn't look good. Offense seems to be coming around, which is absoluetly necessary for this team to be any good. We're getting there.

This type of ball handling from Sir Mohammed will take a ton of pressure of Burton next year.

ND playing tough in a chippy game. Man I really hate this red haired kid.

Shoot-out 1st half turned into a rock fight here in the 2nd half.

Loving the toughness though

By no means played a perfect game and still handled a good Wake team. Hand up, I was very wrong about young Shrews. Early on he didn't display the athleticism that I thought was needed for this level. Seems that came from lack of confidence/experience because he has been playing a much smoother game during this 5 game stretch.

I've probably watched this play from Burton 10 times.

Yeah, Burton is well on his way to be the best locally grown kid to play at ND.

This is just fantastic. If they can pick up an ACC tourney win they will have a mountain of momentum going into the offseason. These kids grew up faster than I ever thought possible.

Wake is #19 in KenPom. Very big win for the program.
They're very good at home, just knocked off Duke and they're undefeated in their own barn.

I believe only three wins combined on the road and in neutral sites. Still a solid win, easily the best win for the Irish this year.

Burton is such a talent. Excited to see him lead this program for the next couple of seasons. I think the ceiling for this season was to see better basketball in February than December, and that's exactly what we're seeing. Very bright future IMO.
