Looks like Jonathon Taylor is making a statement.

Joe Burrow just went down in practice, doesn't look good

Update: Zac Taylor saying it's a calf strain. Likely out for the entirety of preseason but a lot better than many people were expecting.

Didn't look good at all. Absolutely hate to see this. Game is at it's best when the best players are competing at a high level.

EDIT: Just saw MKEagle's tweet, sounds like he might be okay. Fingers crossed.

I’m excited to see what happens if Joe Burrow FINALLY gets through an entire training camp without incident.

Year 1: Covid
Year 2: ACL Recovery
Year 3: Appendix

It would be awesome to see Burrow hit the ground running for once.

Either way, though…

The AFC North + 1st Place schedule is going to be a gauntlet. Not sure I feel good about the AFC Champion/Joe Burrow MVP betting stories that are popular lately. I hope the time is now, because it’s not going to get much better in terms of skill depth than Mixon + Chase + Higgins + Boyd. But it’s going to be tough.

The Ravens get Lamar back, and should be improved on offense overall.

The Steelers got better on both sides and I think Pickett is going to be quality or better with more time.

The Browns have Deshaun (disgusting) who I’m sure will finally knock some rust off.

Gonna be a fun division this year full of frustration and complaining about poorly timed officiating I’m sure!

This is my fault.

Or maybe @Irish#1 and @ACamp1900

I’m not sure. I’m distraught.

I'm glad the NBC team is calling out how ridiculous Taylor has been at RT all day. Can't believe the Refs haven't gotten him on false start or illegal formation yet.

Huge opening victory for Detroit. Impossible not to cheer for Dan Campbell. Dude is amazing and his players would run through a wall for him. Love the 1-2 punch at running back for them with Montgomery-Gibbs.

You can be sure that other coaches watching the game are going to point that out to the refs when they play the Chiefs.

Not a Lions fan, but glad to see them get the W on the road. Teams been in the dumps far too long. KC needs to find some reliable receivers.

That game was weird. For entertainment purposes, however, you had to love it.
