loy said 2 will flip to ND that are currently committed elsewhere..won't say who but noted it isn't a guess and isn't going to cb anyone of them because he doesn't want to spoil the kid's moment but it will be BEFORE NSD

It doesn't matter from this point out. I highly doubt that ND will get another recruit worth anything other than low 3 star. You CAN'T have this kind of change and expect things to stay the course.

I WAS ALL for Kelly staying but with this much coaching change around the team no way does this work out. I was ok will a few changes that needed to be made but this has gotten out of control. We lost our biggest Need commit today and once it's official i believe we will lose our second biggest need commit in Ewell.

Signing day is not going to be worth following.

While an .8600 is low for a typical ND recruit, if you break the 3 stars category up into thirds, an 8600 would actually be in the high range as 3 stars are generally .7900 - .8899

What's going on right now will have nothing to do with next year as long as the new guys win games. Even with all the sky is falling sentiment, ND is currently 1 of just 10 teams with an APR of 90+.

Because Gilmore is his position coach and his recruiter. There's been speculation that he might not stay if Gilmore is gone, which seems highly likely now.

Gilmore is a chump, I don't think him leaving = Ewell leaving. And if it did, I'd still take Gilmore gone. He's done nothing in 2 years and his past success is greatly inflated by a couple of players who turned pro that were 3-stars, and that happens EVERYWHERE.

With Clark Lea coming to coach LB's and Elston more than likely moving back to the DL, if Gilmore were to be let go, most people think that will negatively impact his decision. I get that. But has there been any sign whatsoever that Ewell has even been looking around? And presumably he has some relationship with Elston.

Gotcha. Didn't realize they had that sort of relationship.
Still, will wait for at least a little smoke before declaring Ewell a loss to the broader dumpster fire.
