Has there been any word on that?
The draft seems like a tough go for him right now. I'd love to have him back. I think he's a very solid RB, even if he lost some bounce with the knee injury. But would understand if he goes somewhere he can get more carries.

Kid had a Michigan and Texas hat on the table and was talking about how the academics and connections at ASU put them over the top lol. Shit even Baylor is a objectively better school.

Is there something in the tea leaves regarding the current inventory of DT's (transfer, medical)?

Dave McKinney @ B&G-Rivals said a 3 Star DT / Nebraska commt / Deontre Thomas from OK could visit and has been in contact with Elko.

After not openly pursuing any DT's for a long time, ND is now shaking the bushes for another interior lineman? Seems odd. Even more odd since this is someone outside of Elko (and ND's for that matter) footprint. He has a Michigan offer but besides that Neb and maybe A&M, not really the type of offer list or state either usually shop in.

Brings up the old question we have debated here in the past, have we seen the end of underclassman attrition at DT yet?

Biggest steal: Northwestern DL commit Earnest Brown

How did this guy get away from all the in-state Texas powers? Northwestern is getting a future NFL defensive lineman. Brown has extremely powerful hands and punch, he's long and rangy and he's got a frame that could develop in a number of different directions. He's going to be a guy that you watch on Saturday's and wonder how in the world Northwestern was able to land him.

Loy thinks that ND will flip 2 kids committed somewhere else before NSD. He has specific names in mind but doesn't want to name drop in respect for the kids. FWIW

I mean fine but why even say it? It's like I know something you don't know but I can't tell ya. That's why I liked Sampson he just gave it to ya straight and wouldn't say anything if he couldn't. Done see Freeman doing this at ISD, or Christian. Or anyone from rivals even though they don't cover recruiting over their anymore.

He's doing his job by reporting news related to nd recruiting. If he at all gave away the kids identity, you guys would cry about not protecting the kid and trying to be first to report. Like he always does, he'll examine after its safe to do so. I'm excited to see who they'll be.

Just a heads up...

Yep. Not to nitpick but he said "at least" two then alluded that he wasn't saying anything to anyone other than Loy out of respect to the recruits who want to keep it quiet. There's so many options. I'm very curious.
