King Ranch is George Strait. Raptor is Florida Georgia Line.
I just can't listen to that tractor rap shit.
George Strait FTW.

I've been very disappointed in the Ecoboost. My 2013 F150 Lariat studders and lurches off the line. It is mind boggling frustrating. MPG not nearly as good as advertised. I went with the Ford due to a bigger 2nd row for the kids.
Also have a 2015 Expedition and the studdering is still there, just not nearly as bad. Didn't have a choice on the Ecoboost and wasn't going to spend $70k plus for the burb/Yukon.
I will never buy another vehicle with an Ecoboost.

Test drove the same truck thwt had the tubo with 80k on it and had the same sputtering on take off. Truck was 27k with some wiggle room I felt. I Do not trust a v6 at all. Going to look into the 5.0 slitly used maybe under 75k. With that said I know plenty of people that love the same truck. Work across the street from a Ford dealership that can't keep enough on the lot. I'm tested daily not to go buy a new truck lol
It's been to my local dealer a couple of times, and the techs tell me it is a known issue and I'm pretty much out of luck. They even completed a TSB (I forget the #) but said it wasn't going to help. I'm not a motorhead, but the research I've done seems to indicate it has something to do with moisture intake/humidity. Truck has 33k.
Plenty of moisture and humidity in S.GA. Why deal with a undersized motor with turbos that can mess up?
How is 365 hp with 420 pounds of torque undersized?
Also, the issues being talked about are not nearly as widespread as they are being made out to be. I have never met someone in person that doesn't love the ecoboost engine and there is a reason they cost more than the standard V8. Go try to find a used one, if they suck that bad, then why are they so tough to find for a decent price?
I drive 8k a year and will not buy another truck. Just not comfortable putting stock in a v6. How does that thing hold up when it is 20 years old with 200k on it. My 2000 5.4 still has enough power to do what is needed. #v8livesmatter
It doesn't seem like your basing your beliefs in the V6 ecoboost on facts, here.
What is "doing what is needed"?
Still got my 96 Dodge Ram 1500 with 240k miles on it and it still runs like a beast. I do think my next truck purchase will be a ford raptor. Such a bad ass truck![]()

That "new look" Dodge truck shook up the truck world...I remember the first time I saw it. I laughed, and said...bend over ford and chevy.
I'm not a die hard brand guy with a pee on decal...but anyone who watched that truck come out felt the ground shift...truly awesome looking and performing truck.
I love the new big horns. Such a great looking truck. Surprisingly for my 96 I don't have any tranny issues especially with my big mud tires on it and for having as many miles on it as I do. Granted my air conditioning don't work but it's just my fun truck so I don't really care

So I know my discussions earlier were directed at new car buyers but I'll admit, that new Bronco looks hella sexy. I may try to buy a year old model which is unheard of for me.
I grew up with Broncos, I just hope they get better gas mileage than the FJ Cruiser, who I believe is most similar in size/market.
Count me as one who's waiting on the new Bronco.
I've always loved those things.
