I bet Hillary holds a press conference before The Donald releases his tax returns and answers questions about what he intends to do if elected president and how he intends to do it. She will also not exclude segments of the press that ask tough questions like the Donald likes to do.

thats actually funny...

the part where you talk about her hypothetical behavior...meh. She does one on one sit downs and counts that as a press conference...so I mean...we can all agree she is avoiding the Trump style feeding frenzy because she sucks at it.

Well, let's see The Donald's tax returns and some specifics on policies, including the how.

Did you type this with a straight face? Lmao she hasn't held a press conference in over a year whilst running for president, and you're going to blame Trump for kicking out a few reporters that we know for a fact are in bed with Hillary's campaign? I'm gonna steal a line from ACamp here, "do better".

Additionally who the funk cares about Trumps taxes? So he's not as rich as he says he is?? Earth shattering.

Meanwhile where is your girls speeches she gave to her donors on Wall Street? Where are her 30k emails she deleted after being subpoenaed? Your hypocrisy is unreal.

It's astonishing to me that republicans would ever say, "who the funk cares about taxes". Are you guys even real conservatives or just pawns for whoever the Republican Party throws at you? Taxes are the one personal document that tells the truth. It's tells the truth about whether someone is a cheater, liar, or manipulator. It tells if you're philanthropic and what kind of person you are. Numbers don't lie. But hell, I'll let a conservative tell you himself...

Romney on Facebook, May 11: It is disqualifying for a modern-day presidential nominee to refuse to release tax returns to the voters, especially one who has not been subject to public scrutiny in either military or public service. Tax returns provide the public with its sole confirmation of the veracity of a candidate’s representations regarding charities, priorities, wealth, tax conformance, and conflicts of interest. Further, while not a likely circumstance, the potential for hidden inappropriate associations with foreign entities, criminal organizations, or other unsavory groups is simply too great a risk to ignore for someone who is seeking to become commander-in-chief.

I was being serious...the first part of that post I responded to was actually funny...

OK...I am with you on the income taxes...but the specific policies thing...I think it is valid every time it is used, but the problem is, the SAME argument is made against every challenger to the incumbant or incumbant's party....to no avail, I might add. Just comes off partisan... For example, hopey changey was awesome enough, but now lack of specifics is deplorable...shrug.

Maybe we can just skip the election and have it decided by trial by combat between those two.
Wouldn't be a fair fight. Lena has at least 50 lbs on Milo.

moveon.org blocked all those links...

anyway, I think what DT said today was unreal w Russia and all the email junk, it's sad what's politics is getting to... I did find it funny however... 'espionage', 'treason', all these things... I thought all these emails were just cake recipes and work out routines... kind of hard for our enemies to destroy our nation by hacking Clinton's cookie recipes... ;)

Like Trump is who the Republican party wanted lol. They tried everything they could to stop Trump which is more than you can say for the Dems.

To the actual point of your post though I don't really care about Trump's taxes. Based on Romney's quote what would we hope to find? Trump has been audited 7 years in a row so clearly nothing illegal is going on. I think the reason he hasn't released them is because he is probably far less wealthy and far less charitable than he wants the voters to believe. In a normal election this would be a big deal, but realistically we already know our two options are both terrible human beings. Do we think the Clinton Foundation is any more charitable? Unlikely. Do we think he has any inappropriate foreign connections that are worse than Hillary's? Unlikely.

We're fighting over who's shit smells better.

Yes in spite of what the "establishment" wanted. First they tried to back Jeb. When Trump slaughtered him on live TV they switched their backing to Rubio. When Rubio got killed in his own home state they then tried a two pronged attack with Kasich and Cruz (who they apparently hated just a little bit less than Trump). Through the entire primary process the Republican party tried everything they could to derail Trump.

The Democrats on the other hand coronated Hillary years ago. It's clear reading the leaked emails they where bound on Hillary winning the nomination no matter what.

Are you serious with your first sentence? The DNC pratically rigged the democratic primary in order to keep out the dirty old Jewish socialist everyone likes to bag on.

He's now the nominee because the GOPe couldn't rouse itself to coordinate opposition to Trump and rally behind a more electable candidate. Shows how corrupt and divided the party has become, but it's misleading to portray Trump as some brave outsider who triumphed against all odds. His success is mostly due to the GOPe's weakness/ inability to fend off Trump's hostile takeover.

DWS lost her job but saved her party (for the time being at least). Priebus kept his job, but his party isn't likely to survive the Donald intact. Not defending either of them, but in light of the above, it makes you wonder which one made the better choice.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough. I was saying the Republicans tried everything they could to avoid nominating Trump, while the Democrats did everything they could to force Hillary down our throats.

Ah I see. I agree with that. .

I honestly think a hyuge difference was name recognition. It's my opinion the general voting public, for any party, are sick and tired of establishment politics and wanted to vote for any "outsider." Bernie and Trump were it. The difference was that Trump and Hilldog have all the name recognition, so the classic ignorant voter is just going to vote on familiarity.

I'm not trying to portray Trump as a brave outsider. My point was simply that of the two parties only the Republicans tried to steer the ship away from the iceberg that is a Trump v Hillary election. The Dems aimed for the iceberg and went full throttle towards it.

Clearly the Republicans efforts to stop Trump failed miserably but it doesn't mean it was the wrong thing to do. I think starting with a 17 person field is what really did them in. If the Republican primaries started with only Cruz Kasich Rubio and Trump there is no way Trump wins

The DNC clearly thought a Sanders v. Trump election was a bigger iceberg, and steered toward what looks to them like guaranteed victory in November.

Agreed. The fact that Priebus still has a job after presiding over this sh!tshow is outrageous.

Big follower of Demi Lovato, Mr. The Dude? If it wasn't for my 10 year old watching the Camp Rock movies until my eyes bled a few years back, I don't think I would know her.

Just goes to show how delusional and out of touch the DC bubble is. Had they looked at any poll, they would've seen Bernie defeating every single R, esp Trump by pretty big numbers. Meanwhile, their golden child Hillary was losing to a couple Rs and basically tied with Trump. They pushed HRC through and now they're about to go down with the ship if she loses. And she very well could lose.

I honest to gawd couldn't pick her out in those pictures... Even tho I apparently have confirmation from the resident female that's she's present in one of the pictures.... I only know there is 'a thing' by that name bc I've seen or heard others discuss it here and there.

No they avoided a massive hit to their collective pocketbooks. There's no rational argument to be made that Sanders doesn't match up better against Trump.

The DNC is in thrall to the same globalist consensus that owns the GOPe. They correctly saw Bernie as a much bigger threat to their interests than Hillary. I suppose it's a credit to the DNC that they still have enough control over their party to control who they nominate.
