I disagree on the superdelegates (and agree about the DNC and well the RNC as well). The superdelegates will go with the candidate who wins the primaries. The reason that Sanders won't be the nominee is that he can't get black people to vote for him. Clinton won't need the DNC or superdelegates if that continues.
Sanders wants to raise minimum wage, reduce incarceration rates, fought for civil rights (during the Civil Rights movement), was arrested for doing so, wants universal health care, and free college education...

Yet, he can't can't get black American votes? I can't figure this out... What's the consensus on this? Is it because he's old, white, and male, and "they're all racist"? Is it because they have loved Obama and think Hillary will keep the torch going (even though Bernie would burn the torch brighter)?

I'm not invested enough to look up reasons for his lack of support, but I don't know how his platform is missing.

The Guardian's Thomas Frank just published an article titled "Millions of ordinary Americans support Donald Trump. Here's Why":
If the Trumpists think they've been screwed over by free trade, just wait until they see what protectionist tariffs will get them. Not only will they still be unemployed, but everything will be twice as expensive.

I don't think the black voters generally dislike Sanders. Rather, the Clinton Machine has been cultivating the black vote for decades. It's a pro-Hillary rather than an anti-Bernie phenomenon.

Just imagine how bad Hillary would be doing if Bernie were 10 years younger, and not trying to destroy corporate America.

With all the corporate support Hillary has, it's literally embarrassing to watch how terrible she is. Such an awful candidate, and person.

And yet she will win the nom, because the Democrat establishment kept out all the other real challengers (they underestimated Sanders and they couldn't have kept him out anyways).

And then she will win the general, because she will be up against either Trump or Cruz... both of whom are even more unstomachable than she is.

And it's all Buster's fault for not letting me have more votes.

Any chance Hillary paid Joe Biden off?

... Only a partial joke.

Oh I'm sure she and the DNC either bought him off or strong armed him somehow.

You guys want to see Bernie speak some straight truth?

I just wish his economic policy wasn't so far against what I believe. I'd support him 110%.

If Bernie had a more conservative economic model, this wouldn't even be a race.

Then again, he probably would have been denounced by the DNC.

GOP Exit Polling

GOP Exit Polling

CNN just posted limited exit poll infor from Michigan and Mississippi.

MiISSISSIPPI

Feelings about the Federal Government
Enthusiastic 2%
Satisfied 8%
Dissatisfied 43%
Angry 44%

White Borm Again or Evangelical Christian?
Yes 76%
No 24%

MICHIGAN

Feelings about the Federal Government
Enthusiastic 2%
Satisfied 8%
Dissatisfied 55%
Angry 32%

White Borm Again or Evangelical Christian?
Yes 49%
No 51%

David Chalian, CNN's Political Director notes there are two different electorates but both unhappy with the Fed Gov. Only 10% are satisified. MS is a tad more Angry than Dissatisfied while MI is considerably more Dissatified than Angry. But both electorates view the Feds deeply negative, 87% are Dissatisfied or Angry with the Fed Gov.

Chalian notes that there is a substantialy more Evangelical's in MS than MI but the results are starkly similar. The Establishment is not reading the electorate.

Could Michigan Change The Course Of The GOP Race? | FiveThirtyEight

A good read plus Clare Malone dropped a Muck Fichigan.

clare.malone: I think as far as what we’re looking for in the results, especially following some unexpected results on Saturday, where Trump didn’t win some states we thought he might, we’re looking to see if people have slumped a bit in their support of him. John Kasich has been spending an awful lot of time in Michigan, and Trump might have turned off some sensible Michiganders with his Thursday night debate performance, so it’ll be interesting to see what the win, place, show is up there.

Oh, and to Nate’s above, all I have to say is muck fichigan.

What are they selling Black Americans now? Or, is it just that they've "built up trust with the Clintons", and don't care enough to educate themselves enough about other candidates?

Well, Bill Clinton instituted many of the mandatory prison sentences for drugs that many black leaders are now screaming about being racist.
... I really don't get the blind minority support following. It makes zero sense. They must be putting something in the water.

I have a theory, but it would probably be considered racist.
It's not complicated. The war on poverty and war on crime pushed fathers out of homes in urban neighborhoods, leaving single mothers earning low wages and depending on government.

He'll probably stay in for Florida.

If he loses in Florida, he is a very damaged politician moving forward. And he's not polling well compared to Trump. He'd be wise to drop out and end this charade. He might be able to hold his senate seat.

I feel like I read somewhere that he CAN'T hold his senate seat. Some kind of state rule. I might be mistaken.

Maybe you are thinking of Rand Paul? He could not appear on both the ballot for President, and the ballot for Senator.

Bernie up by 20k votes with 61% in. Too close to call. Hillary was up by 13 in one poll that came out just yesterday. This would be a big win for Bernie. He needs to win in Michigan.
