I don't recall any buzz about Hopkins ever being the #1 heir apparent when he was picked.

they needed a compliment to Hopkins as he isn't a burner, they needed to surround brock w/ weapons to get a true reading on his skills as well

But Treadwell is a little too similar to Hopkins (and so is Doctson). I think that the order for the WRs varies by the team.

It is the fact that they traded up to get him is what would irk me if I was a Texans fan. Sterling Shepard will probably be there in the second when they draft; I think he is going to be great and could be the next Wes Welker.

I'm happy for Will though and hope he does great. I just don't think they needed to trade up.

The problem is that the Texans need someone to stretch the field vertically to take pressure off of Hopkins. The next Wes Welker isn't doing that.

It's amazing how common organizations blatantly lie to the public with no recourse. What message does this send to Tunsil? That the same kind of character will be expected from him in Miami that they expected at Ole Miss?

I don't like Belichek, but you know if he drafted Tunsil, he would have just told the media that he won't be having a press conference and that's all there is to it. He wouldn't have made up a lie, because he isn't that in the business of enabling players, only protecting them. Some people don't know the difference.
