Honestly, you do need to take a step back. Just relax. This isn't the end of the world. We're here to discuss the topic, not to have over the top emotional reactions for all to read.

With all due respect, I don't think he was trying to make you look foolish. Just giving some advice. We all love ND football here but there has to be some balance in life, ya know? My advice would be not to invest too much of yourself into something that is completely out of your control...like following sports teams. Focus on things you can control.

I think that was the point STL was trying to make, with his comment to you: you're being irrational and that's generally not a good thing. You could eliminate at least this much of that by just taking a step back and not investing so much in what 18-22 year old football players are doing.

I love you ND VanCanuck! But why don't people get it? It is really simple. Everyone gets pissed off occasionally by something. And who's to judge whether it is rational, or ridiculous?

But here is my question Van, what sense does it make making a big issue out of something like that, I mean calling someone who is already pissed off, names? Isn't that a bit like poking the bear? If someone thought you were wound to tight a "chill bro!" may have been appropriate, but what else was necessary?

It is ironic that you would comment on the idea of judgement, when your consistent need to take broad swipes at the IE community in general are judgements in their own right, and when they are beginning to irk the general population.

Your sudden desire to constantly post Hot Takes for nothing more than obvious shock value, to take broad swipes at the larger part of our community in general, and your increasingly (and needlessly) contrarian views in order to simply come off as the "realist" are wearing thin on IE.

Lack of posts doesn't make his opinion any less valid. Don't equate the amount of posts under a username with the strength of one's take.
