I suppose this is where I should share my summer thoughts:

Everyone's fat. The goal line package is all bubble screens. Longo sucks. Nyles Morgan can't read. No info.

Are we going to have to talk about football now!?

I feel ya.

Too much Kool-Aid™ too soon can be hazardous to ones health.

Sugar or Aspartame™ sweetened are both a risk.

I highly recommend blotter or windowpane over Electric Kool-Aid.

Welp... Pretty much all of the "surprises" (JHayes over Trumbetti, Studsill over Redfield, etc) have fell flat. lol

To be fair, this is a projection... "Sources" aren't going to be used to make changes on the order of things until there's clear evidence.

Hell, Brian Kelly himself said that Ian Book would be the no.3 QB on the depth chart, but they still went with seniority there haha.

Didn't know Kelly said that about Book. It's what I wanted though, so Wimbuxh could red shirt this year. But if there is an injury to either Kizer or Zaire you know Wimbush will be elevated to number 2.

This was before spring practice when Kelly stated the plan was to redshirt Wimbush. Hard to tell if that's still the case. If Wimbush balls out with what limited reps we have and catastrophe strikes, hard to imagine Kelly isn't going to give Wimbush his chance.

I also think it's dependent upon timing and situation.

If it's late in the year and we've got two losses, and then our starter goes down, there is no point in burning Wimbush's (hypothetical, for now) redshirt. Let Book QB the mop-up duty or in spots as needed.

On the flip side, if it's late in the year and we're undefeated and then our starter goes down, then you've got to activate Wimbush. Burn the redshirt in favor of playoff hopes.

On the OTHER flip side, if we lose a QB early in the year, Wimbush becomes your backup, because then you aren't debating on whether it's too late to burn a redshirt or not.

Murtagh realllllllly likes him some Claypool, eh?

Also, not necessarily surprising, but interesting to think that all three freshman WR's could play this year, considering only 5 WR's recorded receptions last year.
Too many questions at the position. I wanna hear how Sanders is doing with that hip. He was "ahead of schedule" but what does that mean now?

I think it would mean more if Holmes weren't getting the praise that he's getting. If Holmes is actually taking control, and it's not just positive reinforcement from the staff to keep him motivated, that gives ND two guys that can be burners on the outside AND play in the slot with Hunter and Holmes. Two guys that can switch on-and-off at slot will seriously cut into Sanders's chances at significant playing time, especially when you consider that they'll be switching to give Boykin/Claypool/Stepherson/McKinley reps on the outside.
