I disagree. He will be drafted in the first round, lock it up.

RB's just don't carry that high a value in the NFL any longer. I don't think Gordon is even close to being as complete and talented of a running back as LeVeon Bell. Steelers got Bell in middle of 2nd round.

No disrespect to Stanley at all but, what did he do this year to be projected this high? I didn't see it.
He has the height, length and athletic ability to be an all Pro left tackle. He is polished? No way near being polished. But, his physical attributes and very good play is what projects him.

Completely disagree. Gordon is a much better athlete than Bell. Gordon is also terrific in pass blocking. RB has been devalued in the league, but when special ones come around (Gurley & Gordon) they will be taken in the first.

We can place a vbet wager.

My main concern with him would be if he could get that polish in the pros without getting injured during the learning curve. He needs quite a bit of work and needs to show better consistency.

LeVeon Bell is the best and most complete RB in the NFL right now. Gordon is not a better athlete. Scouts take on Gordon:

"Considered elite in two areas, balance and acceleration. Good, but not elite overall athlete. Unproven as a pass catcher. Body type isn't ideal with high-cut frame and only average bulk. Borderline 1st-2nd rounder."

Bell has 1,300 rushing yards and almost 1,000 yards receiving. If there is a more athletic back than Bell, I really want to see him play

Are we comparing Bell now to Gordon? Or Bell coming out of college? There is a huge difference.

You said "He is a much better athlete than Bell", so I was assuming you were talking about right now. Comparing Gordon to Bell coming out college is pretty difficult considering Bell was almost 50 pounds heavier.

Bell dropped almost 25 pounds this past offseason which has helped him blow up this year

Yes but where in the first? The reason I ask is because I don't doubt that we'll see a running back go in the first round this year, but I would be surprised to see one taken in the top half ever since Gurley was injured.

Yea I thought Carlos Hyde in say 2005 was a top 10 pick easy not in 2014 and i don't expect 2015 to be different. RBs just don't have the same value with NFL teams these days. Quite certain we won't see an RB go in the top 12.

Comparing them coming out of college Gordon is a better athlete. Even comparing now I think Gordon is a better overall athlete. JMO.

Comparing them now not even close. Bell by a country mile. Steelers now at times will split Bell outside because he's such a good athlete and such a good pass receiver. You'll never see that from Gordon. You'll never see Gordon used the way Bell is used in the NFL.

LSU could lose a ton of guys to the NFL this year again. Losing Chavis probably won't help them convince guys to come back either.

Actually a big downside of really only going after 100% football first elite players, they're just looking for the quickest ticket to the NFL. They never have time to really develop experience and understanding of the scheme. Consequently I don't feel even remotely bad for them.

Me neither, but you know they will reload anyways.

Also, a few other LSU players have announced they're leaving early.

I want this kid. But idk if he's really worth a top 10 pick.

I definitely think he is. Especially for the Bears. A ball hawking safety with elite speed? Plus he can return kicks. I would cheer this pick.

Which means it wont happen.

Winston's dad just said he is heading to nfl...

What is a realistic career for JW? Will he be worse or better than Cam? That is the QB that comes to mind in the NFL for me to compare him to.
