this 2015 class overall seems real weak to me compared to recent years

#GMKILLER

Part of that is probably the record number of players who left early last year. There just aren't as many good guys that hung in there for their senior year.

Sources Tell Us: What we're hearing about top NFL prospects - NFL.com

Some mentions of Koyack:
The scoop: Miami's Clive Walford and Ben Koyack of Notre Dame are "head and shoulders" ahead of this year's crop of senior tight ends, but some evaluators are beginning to favor Walford. "Walford's knee injury doesn't bother me; he got in good shape this year and was just more confident in himself, which helped him cut down on the drops," said an NFC director of college scouting. "He's a way tougher player than Koyack."

Damn. Just one less reason for Stanley to come back.

Will be a first rounder. IMO he is the best back I've seen come out since AP.
Yes but where in the first? The reason I ask is because I don't doubt that we'll see a running back go in the first round this year, but I would be surprised to see one taken in the top half ever since Gurley was injured.

I think Gurley would have been a top 15 pick. Gordon I can see being taken some where 15-25.

Edit: Gurley would have been the best back to have come out since AP, but the injury knocks him down.

If Chubb can stay healthy, I think he could be even better than both.

Gordon is a nice back but still late 1st, early 2nd rounder. Not even close to being mentioned in the same breath as AP. That's crazy. Gurley would easily have been a top 20 pick pre injury. Not sure any RB goes in 1st round now.

I disagree. He will be drafted in the first round, lock it up.

If Melvin Gordon is on the board when the Colts have the pick, he will be a Colt.

I don't know about that. He's a legit talent, but Indy has a walking talking reason not to draft a RB in the first round on their roster already. 1st rounders inherently carry risk because the picks have value, but RBs get hurt, don't have long careers and can't generally be the cornerstone of an NFL franchise at this point. Gordon seems like a great player and a great guy, but I'd have serious concerns taking any RB in the first 32.

Indy should fortify their O line and front 7 more before spending a first rounder on a running back. I really like Gordon, but the Colts need to protect Luck.

No disrespect to Stanley at all but, what did he do this year to be projected this high? I didn't see it.

Daniel Jeremiah (former NFL scout and analyst now on NFL Network) watched Stanley against USC and thought it was as good a performance from a tackle as he's seen this year. His stock is soaring.

Also WR could be a need if Reggie Wayne retires and Nicks is not expected back. Pretty much leaves Hilton and Moncrief. You can find RB's anywhere in the draft.
