Does anyone else feel like we might end this recruiting cycle like this?

<iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/IcQ6VQtGKZw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

You things you see at girls, catholic, middle school sporting events...

Some of the basketball games I have witnessed put that video to shame

Question for any of you recruiting nuts out there.. Were we ever on the trail after Higdon, the RB who dumped Iowa for Michigan?

Karan Higdon Commitment Story. | mgoblog

According to that both us and Florida were "still in hot pursuit" as of last week...

that is complete bullshit....lemming said about us getting a visit and this was the kid's response in jan VOTH reached out to Higdon, and he denied that report. "That is not true, I have no idea how that got started I haven't spoken to Notre Dame in months," he said.

Notre Dame could be getting visits from 2 4* RBs Keshawn Vaughn 5'9"200 of Nashville Pearl-Cohn -Karan Higdon 5'9" 190-sarasota Riverview.

Throughout December and January the attention from Notre Dame and Florida really picked up. Notre Dame especially. They wound up offering over the phone and Karan didn't feel the connection with the RB coach. I told him that ND was certainly worth thinking about but at that juncture Iowa seemed like a really good fit and opportunity to play right away.

Any recruitniks have solid info at all? Seems fishy that there is no offer listed on this board..

It's ridiculous, after the dust settled knowing we wouldn't get Ronald Jones we zeroed in on all the guys everyone knows on this board, and then Williams committed on his visit. From the point of William's visit onward we had completely shut down RB recruiting even telling Vaughn we were full.

Any report that has us in "hot pursuit" of a RB after Williams' visit is just misinformed.

Unsure if this has been posted elsewhere but we're bringing in 4 PWO's. All have hudl highlights and Brandon Hutson looks like he could actually be a decent player.

Robert Regan, a 6-2, 200-pound quarterback from Darien, Ill.
Lincoln Feist, a 6-3, 285-pound line prospect from Rapid City, S.D.
Brandon Hutson, a 6-4, 220-pound linebacker from Harper Creek, Mich.
Devyn Spruell, a 6-3, 210-pound outside linebacker from Warren, N.J.

Feist admitted he is 310, wants to get to 300 before fall camp. Big boy. He could take 2 blockers

I like having kids like this around the program. Now we can all ask (Next Schmidt?) and not feel preposterous. As unlikely as that is, I will pull for this kid!

I think this kid could really help us down the line if depth became a problem.

Love his physicality! He also has the patience and ability to diagnose a play and react.

This is pretty cool. I would have liked to see him fly around making plays on special teams in his film. I wish him well and i wish I could have lived his dream.

People seem to always forget the fact that Schmidt had offers to play at Pac-12 schools, but wanted to walk on and play for his dream school.

I'm gonna put this here to pretend it happened... like it should've. Hard to believe Bryce Love never got a serious look. His resume screamed ND target and he was a legit track star to boot.

300 yds yesterday, over 1000 on the season and a 10ypc through 5 games. Anyone who says Barkley for Heisman w/o mentioning Love is silly.

Not sure if he's mentioned in here or elsewhere but sad news just breaking. Tyler Hilinski is dead from an apparent suicide. His younger brother was on campus this spring working out for an offer that went to Cade McNamara.

Hilinski was part of that stacked 2015 California QB class and would have been the starter for Leach this fall at Wazzu. Sucky news. Thoughts are with his family.
