I've been thinking for a while that we don't get SoSo. I have a feeling he likes the flashy lifestyle.
Wish we would, I really like Bussey as the third choice
Agreed, I think we should at least get him on campus for an OV as we try and figure out where we stand with Soso. I don't really understand why'd we offer more RB's if we aren't even going all out for a couple we have offered. Scarlett and Bussey.
I keep waiting for Soso to pop to us or UCLA, wasn't his decision timeline the end of this month? I don't see that happening seems like he is waiting for something.... A&M, Texas, Oklahoma... I dunno
Small tidbit thats interesting. Sampson at II said that he expects a new wave of offers at RB to go out.
-To me it seemed like we were content riding out Brossette and Soso with Bussey being the next in-line. I would think we'd try to get Bussey on campus before going after new offers but what do I know.

Not going to start a master list 2017 so I'll leave this here. Like stated in Jones's thread Denbrock and LaFleur spent a lot of time at Bishop Gorman are inquiring about the sophomore class which is supposed to be pretty darn good. #GormanPipeline.
I think Bilal plays next year. The guy who I think could have a immediate impact that's on the likely to redshirt is McKinney.
Crawford and Yoon are not surprises, but a freshman at center? Notre Dame must not be comfortable with next man in at center.
I very respectfully disagree on Bilal. Id be shocked if he played his first two years on campus. He does not have the build right now and staff has young guys in place right now.
If Matthias is asked back, it will be hard for McKinney to crack the rotation anywhere but special teams, barring a series of injuries.
Hoge surprises me for reasons already mentioned. He seem very deep at OL. We'll have to see how that develops.
Im really interested to see who shows up along the defensive line. It seems there is always a surprise, at least to me. I understand Day and Jones were highly rated guys but they've surprised me with how good they were so early. Day was an instate guy and Jarron played garbage competition in NY. Giving Bonner and Williams a season in the weight room, after already impressing staff this fall, should be interesting going into next year as well.
Next year is going to be very interesting if Golson returns. A lot of "ifs" come into play but wrap your heads around this for just a moment.
Golson returns at qb as a Heisman front-runner.
Folson has really taken off as the number one rb while GB has another off-season to play catch up without having to worry about McDaniel.
Wide receiving core is one of the best in the country and now you add Brent and some really solid freshman. Only gets stronger and more athletic. Does DD come back?
Tight end is a bit of a question mark because Smythe remains an unknown. As an ND fan, I simply dont worry about that position. Still hoping for A. Jones.
Offensive line recruiting is up there with anyone else in the country over the last four years. We only lose Lombard.
Defensive line is deeper than some give credit for. Lots of raw young talent here. Rochelle, Day, and JJ are strong. Thats three grown men across the front. Trumbetti has been very impressive as has Hill in spots with his speed off the edge. Again, throw in guys like Bonner, Blankenship, and Jhonny and we have some serious talent and experience.
Linebackers.......Jaylon & Jaylon & Jaylon. Dude is just a beast. Outside of Jaylon you have Schmidt who has been exceptional. A more physically talented kid behind him in Morgan. James O only seems to be getting more and more comfortable trying to play hit stick football. Tranquill has looked very athletic on the edge. Very impressed with the aggressive style of this young core.
Secondary is where we go from a good to very good defense. Cole Luke is the best corner we've had in a very long time. I say that expecting KR back next year opposite him. Crazy talented kids on the edge backed up by two big time safeties. A five star kid from Cali that made a business decision in his recruitment and has not been another Cali bust. I love the way Shumate plays. Hes out of position sometimes but he is the head hunting, shit talking, dirty mofo that every legit defense needs. Love the kid. Matthias has really showed up this year and changed my whole opinion of him. Kudos to the soccer player for working as hard as he has.
Love the potential of this team guys. Should be fun to watch. We can soon begin placing bets on what one irreplaceable player is lost in the off-season. Go IRISH!
I don't see how Adams gets a RS next year since he'll be the 3rd RB. Just don't see it unless Soso hops aboard.Per TV, they split the committed players into 3 groups:

Coney
Boykin
Sanders
Guyton

Per TV, Loy feels strongly that Tillery signs with Irish and Wiltfong wouldn't be surprised either way.
- Also, no concern about Guyton at this point.
- Dexter Williams will visit for Louisville and he's a take no matter what. Talks with Alford often.
- Sources close to Cronkite think his personality best fits at ND.
- Tyree Kinnel is a name to watch as he's thinking about visits to Kentucky and ND.
- Wimbush is recruiting Minkah, ESB, Jones, and Broadus.
Let's assume we lose none of the current commits and we land even a third of the names listed that aren't on our commit list at the moment... wouldn't we be way over?
25 is is the NCAA cap on incoming recruits, correct? Early enrollees count against the previous year's #, correct? So in essence, we technically (21 current recruits) can take 6 more if we so chose to do?
Does that also mean that we are limited to two EEs?
Just looking for clarification?
Excellent post! It truly feels great to be off stroke alert when we lose a recruit , have an injury or someone transfers. Everything good seems like the gravy going forward. Now if Kelly would just stay 10 more years!!!

Agree 100%. Our 3 deep is full of 4-Star players at almost every position. Kelly sure has turned this team into a program. Even when injuries happen, I can't help but get excited to see how the next guy does. We lose Barnett at QB and then land Wimbush...ND has that rep again!!!
Thank you for these updates Luckylucci. Great info. I am worried about Tillery flipping. HUGE dude that I want to stick. Guyton has been impressive. ESB, Jones, Soso and Marshall are the 4 left on my wish list. Minkah obviously could replace Marshall. IF Jones flips, our chances for Broadus only go up. Is Dexter Williams a take over Soso?
The 2014 high school season is wrapping up and ISD is your home each Monday to see track how the 2015 commitments are doing in their playoff runs.
Quarterback:
Brandon Wimbush – St. Peter’s Prep
Mr. Efficient struck again this past weekend against Eastern Christian Academy. Wimbush completed 18 of 25 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-14 win. Adams senior season came to a close a little sooner than expected this weekend. Central Bucks South (7-4) feel 35-7 in the first round of the State Playoffs. In his final prep game, Adams ran for 64 yards on 18 carries. On the year, Adams finished with 1558 rushing yards and 29 touchdowns.

CJ Sanders – Notre Dame High School (Calif.)

Brandon Tiassum – Park Tudor (Ind.)
Tiassum and Park Tudor wrapped up their season last weekend. Tiassum talked about his senior season and his future here.
Linebackers
Josh Barajas – Andrean High School (Ind.)
Barajas sat out this weekend as Andrean (12-0) knocked off Calumet New Tech 62-6. There was nothing significant of Barajas sitting out other than saving him for the stretch run. Andrean will face Jimtown (9-3) this weekend.
Bo Wallace – John Curtis High School (La.)
John Curtis (9-1) got an easy 49-18 win over McMain this weekend. Wallace recorded four tackles and two of them were sacks. At printing, John Curtis did not who they would face next.
Te’von Coney – Palm Beach Gardens (Fla.)
Palm Beach Gardens (5-5) dropped a tough one as Palm Beach Central (7-3) scored the game winning touchdown as time expired to win 30-28. Coney and his Gator squad do not have much time to dwell on the loss as the same two teams face off this weekend in the opening round of the playoffs.
Asmar Bilal – Ben Davis (Ind.)

Nicco Fertitta – Bishop Gorman (Nev.)
