Manziel can't hide the anger on his face, in the Green Room. This kid is going to be a major train wreck, in the NFL. I hope he sticks around for years.............

Anybody else surprised that Clinton-Dix and Dennard are still on the board?

We are hearing about him all day tomorrow no matter what.

True but it's going to be relentless if he is still on the board. If the Cowboys had taken him it would be all you hear about but the Browns/Cardinals don't really drive the media too much.

I would take a large # of QBs ahead of JFF... I like Bridgewater most, Carr second

From the pocket there is no comparison. Carr is way ahead of JFF there.

I cant find the stat on Carr, but Manziels completion % went up to 73.5 while in the pocket up from 70.0 overall.

Manziel also wins the QBR battle 172.9 to 156.1

Then Cleveland should take him at 26. Personally, I would take Bridgewater, Carr, or any other talked about QB that is out there before JFF. Don't need the circus.

Exactly. He's a cancer looking for a locker room to invade.

Yeah, because those stats totally account for things like mechanics that are vital to the timing, etc. of NFL QBs throwing from the pocket.

Tim Tebow also had an awesome completion percentage in college.

Based on what? Never been in off the field trouble. By all accounts hes a great teammate and a hard worker. He liked to party, enter every single 20 yo college dude. Did he get a DUI i missed? Get caught with drugs? Have 6 baby mommas? The circus was created by his electrifying play, thats what the Browns need.

I wonder if she realizes you could replace "Johnny Football" with "Tim Tebow" in that tweet. People said the exact same things about Jesus of Gainesville and we all know how that worked out.

But Johnny can throw the ball. Tebow had (has) the wildly long delivery and was never going to be a good QB.

His electrifying play means he will last about two quarters in the pros. He ain't gonna dance around, run stupid, take licks like he did in college and survive. May as well piss the pick away on a freaking punter.

Again, I think JFF could succeed if you gave him a guy like Chip Kelly or had someone totally committed to designing an offense around him.

But outside of that... you're talking about a QB who needs to make massive improvements in footwork, throwing mechanics, and reading defenses before he can be a legitimate NFL starter. Not to mention the fact that he is small with an average arm and his athleticism can't save him in the NFL. And we're ignoring the fact that he effectively has zero experience running anything resembles a pro-style offense with tight windows and timing that require him to make decisions MUCH faster than how he holds the ball at A&M.
