He actually took to Twitter to kill these rumors. He posted the breathalyzer results (.008, one tenth the legal limit) and his car was parked.

Here's a summary of what allegedly happened from his lawyer. Sounds like a BS collar to me unless there was more to it. Not a knock on law enforcement at all, but it doesn't sound like there was much to this.

Stephen White is reviewing Louis Nix's tape for his SBNation draft series and its safe to say he's not a fan, he is bagging on Mayock for having Nix as his #1 DT.

Nix is getting a lot of heat from the pre-draft echo chamber which is just now "reviewing his tape" and docking him because they say he took plays off last year and needs to get in shape.

Nevermind that fact that he's lost, what 30-40 lbs since the season and, oh yeah, HAD A F'IN INJURY last year which slowed him down. Nix is a helluva DT, knows his role and would be a fantastic locker room guy.

This horseshit is what we get when there is an extra 2 weeks before the draft actually happens. White and all these other dudes who know jack can cram their half-assed "pre-draft analysis."

Yep agree with you on this, tape guys like White judge everything on the tape and nothing else. they don't know the stories behind any of these guys

To me, the problem is that he's of most value to a 3-4 team. I figured he'd slide just from that, but I'm not as down on him as the draftniks.

If they watched the 2012 tape he was EASILY a top-10 pick. He was the most impactfull player on that defense, which included Manti and Tuitt. He was clearly not healthy for most of this year, and if he's healthy now any 3-4 team that passes on him is crazy. I've seen mocks of him going to either the Steelers or the Chargers, either of which would be great to see him on (for his sake). If he goes to the Chargers, they may take the mantle of my all-ND man-crush team away from the Vikings.

Main thing he didnt like was his crappy pro day. Although personally I'd put a lot more stock in his game film than his pro day, but that's just me.

I think Bridgewater will be solid. I like Bridgewater, McCarron, Murray, and Manziel. Don't really like any of the other QBs.

Doing this mock draft stuff has made it clear to me that this is possibly the deepest NFL draft in years. Dozens of guys in the late rounds that produced in college and can definitely succeed in the NFL. If I'm a GM, I'm trading down as much as possible to stockpile picks.

haha I don't even like Mettenberger but I think Pats will trade Mallett and I think Mettenberger would be worth it at the end of the 4th. I'd probably bring in Tommy as an UDFA to challenge for the #2 spot....

Also, I actually saw Ishaq got taken in the 7th round right before I was going to pull the Larry Bird and draft him a year early.
