Hawaiian, now that Botelho has finished his senior season what is your take on him as a player and a human being overall? Is he one of the best you have ever seen out in the Islands? Do you see him being able to make a seamless transition to shark end (wde)? Do you know what type of character the young man is? Etc

I'd love to hear from Hawaiian on the rest of it but he does play a position very similar to that of Shark End with the St. Louis program. Should be an ideal fit. Also, per his strength coach, he's putting up top notch numbers in weight room. Everything I've read points to a guy that should come in ready to play a role.

To be honest he had a better Sophomore/Junior Season. Still a beast though. In my opinion the other highly touted LB Nicholas Herbig (Wisconsin Commit) had a better year.

Botelho looks like a college player. Very well put together. Looks like he gained some size.

As far as his character he should fit in fine.

The best Hawaii high schooler in the last 20 years is still Te’o.

No, this happened a long time ago and they have been aware of it. No issues with him signing + enrolling.

That would be breathtakingly stupid. That would be on-brand for a pre-Brian Kelly Notre Dame, but the current ND doesn't seem to be as rigid when it comes to situations like this.

The incident occurred Oct 26. The most recent article above was from Dec 13 and Jordan retweeted it. The judges ruling I believe is more recent and now he can’t play in the bowl games. That’s why I posted it because it would come up when he wasn’t playing.
