Just to clarify, Matt from ISD posted that Jordan follows a lot of college recruiting staff and the one's he followed in particular are girls who work in the recruiting office at USC.

Essentially HS guy following college chicks.

Those girls may be the only ones left on staff in a few weeks.

Some smoke over at ISD about apparent recent follows to a bunch of USC players and coaches.

But that does bring up a question - when will he OV to ND? Why hasn't that been planned?

This guy is a stud. Top 3 recruit of ND's 2020 class IMO.

So help me God if we have to line up against this kid for the next ~4 years...

He’s a highly-rated long-distance recruit with no particular ties to ND, who visited campus once, committed within a week and has never OV’d anywhere else? Maybe he’s the sort who just knows what he wants, goes about his business and keeps his word. But I’d think we’ll want to keep in close touch here for the next couple months.

Welp it should make recruiting cheaper in the long run. Kelly, Polian and Lea going to Hawaii once every other week until he signs the paper should get them plenty of frequent flyer miles to use lol.

UW 247 poster in Hawaii is saying this commit may not stick. He says people there are surprised he committed when he's been saying he wanted to visit all of his schools. Also stating Polian pressured the kid to commit. Therefore, while ND holds the advantage right now due to his first visit blowing him away, this isn't 100% set in stone according to people around him.

This post is from the week he committed. Nothing new here really, hope Polian can convince him to get back up to South Bend again.

I take nothing for granted until business is done on NSD. JB appears to be one hell of a LB and the "fit" for both him and ND seems perfect. Our recruiting is very good on both sides of the ball.

I hope he can see his opportunity for greatness on this team.

I don't say this lightly, but I think he stays, wins and continues to greater glory (channeling my inner Manti)!

Cheers and Go Irish!!

Doesn't seem like anybody at ISD is sweating this at all.

Also, the headmaster of his school is a ND dad. There's a lot of pull for ND at St Louis.

Good. Hopefully there’s nothing to sweat. He seems like a solid kid and we’ve long done well with Hawaiians despite the geographic and cultural distances. Just that this one has several hallmarks of a potential flip. I assume the staff won’t take him for granted.

If I was BK, I sure would stoke this fire. Keeping a HI player like this is going to be very, very tough. Bama no doubt will come calling as well. Best thing he can do is live in this kids backyard.

Even if he’s not an EE he’d be Early Signing Day, right? This should be wrapped up in December either way.

But, yes, I’d consider dispatching Polian to Hawaii for the duration. Screw special teams. This one could be special.

There are going to be a lot of studs on that DL.

I think Botelho is a 5 star prospect. He’s the type of kid that can play at any school.

I'm glad to hear it because it makes me feel more secure about his commitment sticking through silly season.

EE?!?!

I, honestly, might be (somehow) even more excited about Botelho than JJ and Tyree, which is crazy to think.

I think JJ and Tyree will be the two best at their position in the Kelly era, but I think Botelho will be a Manti of leadership on D.

(PS: My real dream boy is Tyler in that 2021 class though... I see Brady Q mixed with Jimmy C, mixed with Lamar...lol)

In a recent Sincalir article, the strength coach at Jordan's high school had nothing but praise for him. Says he's already dominating the weight room. Should be interesting to see what Balis does with him this winter.
