I think "most" expectations as he's rehabbed during the summer was that he would be available for this season, but probably not for a few weeks in. Making week 1 is ahead of schedule, if I recall.

When he sustained the injury September wasn't considered likely. He was said to be way ahead of schedule but a few reporters were only saying Texas A&M was possible even a few days ago. Any availability against Miami is incredible honestly. I don't expect him to get many snaps at all but if he gets in that would be a crazy comeback.

I want to know what he did that is unique to his recovery. He's obviously figured out a way to push his endocrine system into overdrive and mentally force tissue movement where others are reluctant post-injury. Astonishing how quickly he's recovered.

Depth chart has him at LDE behind Traore and Tulihalamaka. So he probably won’t see a lot of snaps but what depth we also show Young, Burnham and Logan Thomas at RDE.
Won’t have to worry about DL playing too many snaps.
