Who knows, maybe we would have won with JB?

Wishing him all the best in his recovery.
Doubt it. Traore maybe. Traore and Young have freaky size and skills you can't coach. Both in line for big 2025s. Our pass rush coming from the edges will be nasty with these 2.

Botelho was our best defensive player against A&M. Traore certainly could’ve made a difference as well. Mills too, especially against the run. Maybe a healthy BenMo makes a game changing play, who knows?

It's pretty incredible they were in at the end without Botelho, Morrison, Traore, and Mills. Golden did a great job. Our team this year goes with CJ Carr and Chris Ash. Team is loaded even without Botelho.

Best of luck to Jordan and he could make a huge impact being a fresh body when he is due back.

Just extremely unfortunate for Jordan. He was one of my favorite recruits coming out of HS. Loved the way he played the game. Unfortunately, it looks like he’ll never be able to put it altogether before leaving. Hoping for a speedy recovery, maybe he can make some late season noise, and get on someone’s radar.

It would have to be medical redshirt in his case
He technically can.

Last year was his first medical year. This would be theoretically year 2. So he'd be eligible. 2020 doesn't factor in at all since the COVID year was a freebie for everyone.

That said, I would be beyond shocked if he came back.

Dammit. Gotta feel for the kid.

Hopefully he can come back and make an impact down the stretch for us.
Yep, as we saw last year, there is a lot of attrition that occurs over a season, and I really hope Jordan hammers his rehab and can come back healthy and provide a spark for us mid-season.

Need him to hit that 4 month mark and come back and provide some angry depth. This sucks but always good to adjust early and (hopefully) add to DL depth in 2nd half of season.

What sort of conditioning can he still do to keep in shape to shorten the return time?

It all depends on the severity of the tear. Was it a partial or full rupture? Is he having surgery? I imagine the October date is solid, but chest strengthening exercises might take longer. When he is able to bench, his strength should return rather quickly due to muscle memory.

Yeah only leading tackles with his head, to avoid the healing pectoral injury...

Well now we know what Chris Ash's defensive wrinkle is gonna be.

Medieval siege tactics.

He's got nothing to lose and everything to gain to get back on the field as soon as possible.

I think the fact that he's even hitting the bag is the point. Shows he's clearly not going to miss as much of the season as we all thought.
would be nervous about him rushing himself back tbh, feel like hes the sort of guy to say hes fine when hes hurting and play through pain
A follow-up from Jamie below, and he elaborated a little that they want to do right by Jordan because everyone knows this is his last year. No need to let him push too hard and end his playing career if they can wait.
