If it's truly a coin flip between us and UW as was apparently the case a month ago, I'm not sure we would be a hat on the table. Also if I'm a WR I'd take our QB room over UW any day.

While I'm thrilled with what ND has on the roster and in the pipeline, UDub wins the recruiting network's R&R's. QB's and their QB rank:

Jacob Eason (#2), Jacob Sirmon (#6), Jake Haener (3*), Dylan Morris '19 (#4), Ethan Garbers (#11) and Sam Huard '21 (#1)

I don’t know, but I don’t think so. In a scenario where they land Jordan Johnson, AJ Henning/Xavier Watts, and Michael Redding then I’m almost positive that they’d keep recruiting Jalen McMillan as his star power puts him in the BPA category. If it’s Jordan Johnson, AJ Henning and Jalen McMillan maybe they back off Michael Redding but I’m not too sure. Right now I think it’s basically

1) Jordan Johnson
2) Jalen McMillan
3) AJ Henning
4) Michael Redding
5) Xavier Watts
6) William Nixon

They aren’t recruiting Daniel Jackson anymore and he’s likely headed to Wisconsin at this point. Troy Omeire just released a Top 4 without ND and I don’t think he’s actually coming in late June on his rumored OV so I’m not putting him on the list. Hopefully ND is able to land their guys from that list above cause it isn’t the longest list

No, I'm not. All I'm going to say about it is..... If ND doesn't give him complete and undidvided attention and ignore calls to grab other (possibly more talented receivers), they're making a mistake. I've been a ND fan for 30 years but I will immediately transfer my allegiance, even if it were to be a rival that wins out here.

So McMillan has now narrowed down his choices to 4 schools and looks primed for a fall decision after some OV's in the early fall. He mentioned taking OV's to ND and Oklahoma in September has one locked into OU on 9/28 which leaves New Mexico on 9/14 as the only other weekend with a home game. Another issue is the fact that McMillan's HS schedule is already out and he has game on every friday night in the fall except for the 9/28 weekend. Hopefully ND is able to get him on campus again for an OV in the fall and I'd love it if it were the USC game, but New Mexico would be okay I suppose as long as he ends up on campus at some point. Anyway, I think ND has a shot at him, but I think there are a lot of difficult hurdles to get past. USC is the home school, offered him first, and they always have pull in Cali. Washington is the king of the west right now and they've done well with some Fresno kids in the past. Oklahoma is just the bees knees to kids in Fresno for some reason and they've created a pipeline there somehow. Anyway, I hope ND gets him on board because the 1-2 punch with McMillan and Johnson would be silly good.
