Man, early top 50 DE, top 50 OT, top 50 TE and a top 100 OT & DT showing early interest. This could be a really fun class, beat tOSU!!!!!!

this 17 class is gonna be sick...

Don't look now but the 16 class has some potential as well. I can't remember where I read it but I think if we get either of the big LB's still on the board we would jump up to the #2 class on rivals (as it currently stands).

Adding McCullough and/or Kelly (both trending very favorably for ND) would be a huge boon. Not to mention the other skill positions we are in for.

Right now it looks like the finish is going to be very top heavy which should definitely help the rankings. It'll just be interesting to see how a lof of the other teams in front of us finish. I don't really care about recruiting rankings in general, outside of the good publicity we garner from it.

Bingo. In reality they mean nothing, but kids look at them. If we can get half the "bandwagon effect" that Bama has I would be pleased.

And I get it, thats why I get excited for these kids when they jump up the rankings. Gives them credit for their hard work and keeps ND in the eye of future recruits. Thats why part of Daelin Hayes's allure is that he's a 5 star LB, though I may not view it that way.

On BGI's recruiting podcast, they mentioned that Beal may transfer to IMG Academy.

Whoa, Kaindoah and Beal on the same HS team. Not fair for the rest of the world. Hopefully Beal can then recruit Kaindoh to ND where they can continue that legacy.

would be awesome, will get him out of his backyard and away from the influence of local UGA/Clemson fans etc

Is that a good thing, bad thing, or just meh...?

I view it as a slight positive. We'll be signing two IMG kids in this class and they have a few that we'll be looking at in 2017 so that familiarity with help. Also, like posted above, getting him out of GA can't be a bad thing. We're are doing really well in Florida at the moment.

So what you're saying is that every kid at IMG is now an Irish lock because of the pipeline?

I live in Georgia and I approve of this move. Too many UGA influences around Norcross HS.

Planning to visit Nebraska, Texas, LSU and one other, but says he's still solid. According to him isn't having second thoughts, just wants to see what's out there.

Was this decided before or after our game?

Haha......then he's not so solid!!!

Exactly. No idea if he'll stay or go, but we've all seen the "I'm solid but still looking" movie before, and it usually doesn't end well for whoever is the one is being "solid" to.

Maybe he is waiting to see what happens with BVG since Irish Envy has fired him already.
