That's better.
The ball is now in your court BK.

still no bat signal...
Kelly may be enjoying some family time during the dead period. With practice beginning in three weeks or so and a full season after that, now is the time for most of the coaches to spend time with their families before the demands of the 2018-2019 season take over.
Yup, I thought about that when NDdomer2 posted that he saw Long and wife in Vegas.
When did the dead period start?
June 25th - July 24th. Last week of July is a week of getting a few more kids on campus before August training camp/recruiting dead period. Pretty sure that aside from phone calls the coaches are all doing family time for the short 4 weeks that they get before the next one comes during Xmas time.
So we saw plenty of bat signs from BK during the dark period, just not in this case.
its the dead period now so the staff cant even reach out to the kid right?
If what the kid says is true, it looks like Alexander f'd up in accepting the commitment.
Thats a mighty "IF" tho.

There it is...
Good luck, kid. Thank you for being super classy about it.
The part that I'm curious about is his tweet on July 8th, two days after he committed, that he was no longer going to take visits and he's 100% committed.
Was this in response to someone he talked to at Notre Dame or because of backlash he was receiving? If it was in response to talking to someone from ND, this is even more screwed up.
A recruit puts you in his top 4 and says he's committing on 7/6/18. As a coaching staff you have to have a plan. Even if it seems unlikely, what if he tries to commit to us. What is our response etc etc.
