I don't post here often and it's because I'm friendly with people on staff at ND.

I texted one of the coaches and got "we did not know he was planning on committing to us". That's the reality of the situation with Sheffield. They backed off and hadn't made contact in a bit.

I'm not going to say any more, but I felt it necessary to clear the air a bit on this "commitment". Believe me or not, I don't really care, but I'd be willing to make a wager with you on if he enrolls at ND in the fall.

I work literally down the street from his high school and know some of the assistant coaches in the area. Mostly Centennial, Franklin and Brentwood Academy. I'm curious to know what they think about him and ill try to catch a game this fall.

Good area for high school football, especially if you shoe horn Riverdale in there. Ravenwood too.
