Yea, that's what it sounds like. I didn't read it the first time around just threw in half dozen votes. But it sounds like this is just for clicks and the "committee" picks the winner.

From a ranking perspective, yeah. But I'm not close to saying that he'll be the most productive player in this class. There are a lot of really good defensive recruits in this class that no one talks a lot about because they've been committed since Nam.

Not sure but he'll certainly end as our highest rated recruit. Most think he'll hit the 5 star after the all star games are completed and final rankings come out.

The way people talk about him, he's a ball hawk. I hope he can be our Ed Reed and one of our other safeties can be Bob Sanders.

I was most worried about losing Hamilton so I'm very excited the ink has dried and he's coming to the Bend to wreak havoc.

Film says he'll be a FS unless he naturally grows out of it. They'll be in no hurry to make that happen.

But make no mistake, he has the type of build Elko/Lea looked for when finding Rovers at Wake.

While I agree with your assessment of Hamilton, I would add the word "potential" in front of "talent perspective" when comparing him to Redfield.

Redfield was a 5 star recruit, but never exhibited that level of talent on the field at Notre Dame. Hopefully, Hamilton's on-field production lives up to the hype. Redfield's best ND days were the hype surrounding his commitment. His on-the-field production never matched the hype.

Safety Kyle Hamilton is a five-star prospect and to make it very clear, a five-star person as well. Not only is he a special young man and incredible football player, but he has leadership qualities about him that make others want to play alongside of him. I spoke to some players on the East team this week, guys that have known him for a long time and others that only met him this week, and the majority of players used words like “captain,” “silent assassin,” and “freak” to describe him. From what I saw this week, he’s truly all three. 247Sports is probably going to be the only recruiting site that ranks him as a five-star recruit and I fully believe that the others will regret not giving him the much-deserved bump.

Looks like he's getting a nice bump.

Typically due to what all American game these kids play at. Only one service got to evaluate him vs other "top" competition this week.

I feel pretty comfortable saying he's one of the highest ceiling players we've recruited under Kelly. He's a legit 6'3, runs like a deer, and has very good ball skills. I wouldn't trade him for any S in this class and a legit 5 star prospect.
