I feel pretty comfortable saying he's one of the highest ceiling players we've recruited under Kelly. He's a legit 6'3, runs like a deer, and has very good ball skills. I wouldn't trade him for any S in this class and a legit 5 star prospect.

Giggity, giggity!

I really wish he was an EE. He could have potentially started at nickel game 1.

Finally got that 5 star recruit we've been missing on the last few cycles. I think he's going to be special

I was hoping to embed the profile showing the pretty 5 stars, instead you can only see the composite. Oh well.

Damn it why couldn't he EE. Good for him though. And some good optics for ND.

With Gilman and Elliott both coming off good seasons, it's not so bad that he's not an EE.

Joseph and Lea will have plenty of time to get him up-to-speed and involved with some sub packages once the summer hits.

Wonder what the record is for the largest jump in 247 rating. He made almost a 1,000 jump in rank.

i think it was Jalen Phillips. He went from like a 2 star to the number 1 player for a bit. i might be a little off.

Sampson and O'Malley think he could start at nickel this year. I like the idea, but disagree he will since he didn't EE.

I love when the staff gets in early with a player who isn't rated very high and they end up being a diamond in the rough. To go from a 3 star to 5 star is outstanding!

Just watched his senior highlights.

1. He needs to stay at SS. He can put on 20 lbs and still play SS. The way he reads and reacts to both the ball in the air and the run game is uncanny. I know it will be tempting to play him as the perfect rover if he gets bigger, but he should stay on the back end and totally eliminate half the field for opposing offenses if he maintains enough speed. He's a gamewrecker, so let him wreck the game from the position that gives him the best opportunity to see the whole offense and then react.

2. Let him moonlight as a WR early in his career while he's not a full-time starter on defense.

I could probably find this exact same comment on Max Redfield's thread... The old safety vs wr argument.

Remember when we wanted JuJu Smith to play Safety. Good times.

Yes I do remember when you all wanted JuJu to play safety. I was the only one banging the table for him to be a WR. Check his thread if you don’t believe me.
