I’m not worried about playing against PJ, I don’t believe these kids should just have free reign to transfer when and where they would like, but damn if I’m not confused how these immediate eligibility waivers get sorted out? It’s a completely arbitrary system where those who lie and complain win out over those who, in some cases, deserve it more.

I'm going with the assumption he finds a way to play. When it would work in our favor, like Gilman transferring in? No, not allowed. When it's the opposite? Grandma is dying and he suddenly develops autism, let the guy play.

No info but seeing how seniority and egos tend to flow down in cfb, I wouldnt have to stretch to imagine there was some energy coming from the older QB who some fans were calling to be replaced by Jurk last year.

Am I the only one that thinks its kind of a cool picture? I actually thought it was a depiction of him in BKs "doghouse" and there could be some others in there with him like Austin, Dexter etc.
If it is in relation to BK apposing his eligibility to play surely he could play but not against ND as often happens with soccer transfers as I understand it.

BK is pretty savvy PR-wise. I’d be surprised if he was “working behind the scenes” to prevent PJ from being immediately eligible. Even though ND could make the case that it doesn’t fall under the rules as being a case where immediate eligibility is granted, it makes ND look bad.

I would be curious to know what case PJ & BC makes to support their insistence that he be immediately eligible w/o taking the required one season off after transfer. If it’s an indictment against ND then ND should be able to tell their side of the story to the NCAA...IMO.

Bottom line, if he gets immediate eligibility, then they need to go ahead and remove the one year waiver process and grant everyone immediate eligibility moving forward. Again, that’s assuming I’m not missing a key component of this saga b/c he’s not a grad-transfer & ND gave him opp to win the position.

Even if BK is trying to hold it up, he isn't doing what any HC would do in this situation. If PJ gets the waiver suit his ass up. The only longer wind up I have ever seen is Luis Tiant's when he was pitching for the Red Sox in the 70's.

Your waiver will be approved if you hire the right attorney, if you don't, its a crapshoot. Evidently Phil family didn't hire the right guy.
