Yup. Or guys like Theus for Georgia. In general, I root for these guys to fail, because I find going on an OV to recruit for another school pretty unethical.

Only way to get the guys you want hooked up with their assigned bagmen, LAX.

Of course. How can you not be concerned when the #1 QB in the country (for ND's needs) is at his in state school who happens to have the best class in the country at the moment?

Did they say he would be their guest or just attending with no program contact?

I was just told that this is almost certainly a trip to accompany a friend who is interested in PSU. Everything else I've read suggests that PJ is all-in on ND (regardless of who is coaching).

That's what i figured.

But I'm concerned when Phil plays basketball, when he drives a car, when he walks on ice. If i were the recruiting director, I'd have a recruiting assistant stay at the Jurkovec's house to make sure the milk wasn't out of date. Phil is the heartbeat of the program from '19 through '21/'22.

Theus actually loved his ND visit and said he would go there if it wasn't for Georgia.

Who was he recruiting to Georgia?

He baby sat Keith Marshall the entire time from what I heard. Kind of crazy how both really underwhelmed in college.

Does anyone know if Phil recruits hard for ND? Being the highest rated, one of the firsts in the class, and a QB, you'd expect him to be the lead recruiter, or one of. I see nothing from him on twitter, or stories from ISD/Rivals about him recruiting for ND.

If he's not, it'd be nice if he'd step it up. He' in a location that ND can score on, and a position that can make an impact.

Porque?

I can't see tweets and the like at work, so context helps.

The chile relleno is a dish of Mexican cuisine that originated in the city of Puebla. It consists of a stuffed, roasted, fresh poblano pepper, sometimes substituted with a non-traditional hatch chile, anaheim, pasilla or even jalapeño chili pepper.

First a little post grub clean up...

The chile relleno is a dish of Mexican cuisine that originated in the city of Puebla. It consists of a stuffed, roasted, fresh poblano pepper, and nothing else. It is stuffed with Asadero or Oaxaca cheese depending where your cook is from. There is no nacho cheese or fake, corporate American cheese that may be substituted.

Fixed.

Hatch peppers are so bad Mexico is building a wall on New Mexico's southern border to keep that vile, gringo chili where it belongs. And you're gonna pay for it.

Rivals updated their rankings, and PJ is rated 59 and the 3rd-best dual-threat QB, behind a guy that hasn't played QB in meaningful high school games yet, and who isn't going to be a QB in college.

Phil's ranked #3 QB and #59 OA. I'm not sure what he was ranked before, but I'm assuming the low rankings are why.

OK...

Rivals moved Bishop Gorman's 6-0, Dorian Thompson Robinson ahead of Phil. DTR was 21/31 for 269 yds... for a season. He's been stuck behind Tate Martell. To get him on the field, he was a WR and had @400 yds and 8 TD's.

How does one guy perform at high 4 to 5 star level, get injured and dropped in ratings and rankings while another guy hasn't played a lick, has the body of a slot receiver and gets moved up to #2 on the dual threat list?

Phil's down to #8 overall QB's if i read that correctly on my Jitterbug flip phone while eating. NO way.

I think at this stage we can just rub our hands together like mad scientists and forget the ratings idiots of the world. The thought of an athletic rocket-armed 6'5" QB at the controls of the Kelly offense sounds like big $$$$$$$$ to me. Bring on 40ppg.

p.s. playing like Archie Manning was about as good as it gets. The Old Man had game.

John Harbaugh will send Kelly some Shari's Berries next year after inheriting Phil.

If only I could trust to that hope still.

I think '16 broke me for real. I thought Kizer coming back as Kelly's 6'4" athletic and rocket-armed veteran QB was going to offset other issues.

Ha!
