This recruitment has Noah Spence written all over it.
Just want to post this here, because I did some research on this on my own. For those worried about the "inciting a riot" and "racially charged tweet" accusation, here's the tweet that got him suspended. (WARNING: contains NSFW racist language)

As you can see, it was white students making racially charged statements, and Parsons saying that he wanted to transfer. That, in the eyes of the private school, was HIM being disruptive.
I gotta say, it's abundantly clear to me that Parsons was in the right and the school was in the wrong. I give him credit for sticking to his guns.
Just got off the line with two people that are knowledgeable, one about PA, Harrisburg, and the other about these kids.
Harrisburg appears to be relatively close to Philly suburbs, and it is. But the Appalachian foothills cut across between. Philly has Catholics, as does Western Pa (Pittsburgh, etc.) But to this day Harrisburg, (Pa's tenth largest city) is redneck as hell. On the call my friend reminded me of a really prominent ND grad that grew up in the area, that had lots of problems with residents over just being Catholic, fifty - sixty years ago. It hasn't changed much apparently.
More than it's redneck ways, it shares other traits with such repressive communities, it is incestuous as hell. Nobody from the outside's going to fit in. Let alone if they are
different!
And that is indeed what happened here. Kind of like a darkside, negative version of Remember the Titans. Racism won out overall, the team didn't come together, and the team certainly didn't win!
So don't judge anything about either Quon or Parsons based upon what has or hasn't been reported. And by the way, that may be one of the reasons PSU isn't getting it for Micah, either. Kid may need to get away, out of state.
