Any instances where a transfer in the past ten years has actually worked out for the player? Don't provide examples unless it led to being drafted.

Oh...
And I'm with Koon somewhat on the transfer talk. I don't know anything about Keys and have no reason to believe he would bolt but Lenzy's history and his "fatigue" are all flags. If he were to leave, you'd look back at all that and go... well DUH!
I worry about Keys as well. He was my favorite in that class. Having to play behind Fink (Who strikes fear in whoever has to covers him) when he has a "C" on his jersey must suck because it's a joke. Love the story around fink...hate that he starts over keys and is a captain (one of seven which is another joke) on the team that I love. Hope Keys stays.
But what are the chances all 3 of Lenzy, Keys AND Austin are back? I'd be okay with one of them leaving if it means Austin is a real part of the offense next year.

Two of the three WR positions in our base offense are opening up next year. The slot is all but guaranteed to go to Keys III.
That leaves the two outside positions for some combination of Lenzy, Johnson, and Austin. So, all are guaranteed a minimum of the two deep. All three have different skill sets. All three could easily be utilized, and even on the field at the same time in some situations.
Why would they transfer? For goodness sake, do people honestly get that bored that they speculate to this level?
Yeah the Lenzy "transfer" stuff stemmed from him not travelling to Duke. This was obviously done to protect the player; why would he transfer due to that?
Unless you believe Kelly's just making things up.
The Keys "transfer" seems to have come from an analysis of his body language, FWIW.
This is the 2nd time Lenzy hasn't traveled.
And "fatigue" is a new one. Fatigue for a guy who plays like 8 plays is definitely new. Fatigure for a guy at ND who barely plays... Ok.
I'm glad most think there's nothing to this. I'll remain pleasantly surprised.
You know players can be fatigued by things other than games on Saturday, right? This is the 2nd time Lenzy hasn't traveled.

Can you tell me how many times you've seen players of any team, any year, sit out due to fatigue?
Apparently this is normal so I'm curious to hear how common it is.

If he has mono, been dealing with any illness that compromises the immune system, then yeah he can be fatigued. Mono effects can last for months, too. It's technically an autoimmune disorder
Perhaps your sources can pm you and give you the proper intel? Why don't we wait and see what the real reason is before we bury the kid and start talking transfer. This could really be as simple as coming off the flu, who knows. Can we stop the speculation and get some inside info. I know you're dialed in to somebody, maybe Matt F. or someone else? Yes, the last time he didn't travel was concussion. I don't know how that can be used to bury the kid.
I could. But I'm not that intrested.
I've yet to see another CFB case of "fatigue". Anyone is welcome to share the precedent that apparently exists.
I think it's strange and I don't think both him and Keys will be here next year. It's a hunch. I don't care enough to ask a source how they feel.
Right now I'm picturing a 5 wide with Austin, Lenzy, Keys, Johnson, and Kmet. Oh my Lord!

I got mono my junior year of wrestling(stole a state title from me...will not be convinced otherwise), I missed 3-4 weeks. Was able to come back for state qualifiers. Didnt feel legit good to go for a few more weeks.
What a shitty time. Though I did get morphine and that was cool.
Flu. Concussion symptoms. Mono. All could easily be described as "fatigue." Lenzy doesn't really give the vibes of a transfer case, and he has a clear lane to be a starting WR for us next year. Nothing to see here at this point.
