Lenzy is the answer to Wimbush's problem of overthrowing the receivers on those long passes by half a step. He's half a step faster then our other receivers. #Unstoppable.

Is this serious? Stepherson is pretty damn fast, probably our second fastest receiver in the last 5 years (maybe decade) behind Fuller. And incredibly few have Fuller speed, if he and his QB can stay healthy he's going to have great stats next year, right before his contract year.

Didn't realize how much he signed for

LOL, NO. I didn't think italicize was necessary. Thought my joke was obvious. I even threw in a hashtag.

Lenzy would be a nice pickup but he isn't the answer for Wimbush overthrowing receivers, that's all on Wimbush and he needs to become a more accurate passer and also learn how to read options 1-4 instead of staring down option 1 and then scrabbling to do something

So you are chosing to analyze/respond to a post that I already said was a joke. Obviously a faster receiver doesn't likely change the fact that he will continue to overthrow receivers.

I repeat .... it was a joke.
I repeat .... it was a joke.

Please ... nobody respond to my post with any additional "analysis".

To be fair, Mercy has to take valuable time to stop Tweeting recruits to read an entire post, so you may have to cut him a LOT of slack for not understanding your response that it was indeed a joke. On top of that, most jokes are well above him.....

With Cristobal being promoted to head coach, it certainly increases the chances that he recommits to Oregon.

Given Braden's reaction to the whole Track "misunderstanding", I think ND coaches should avoid trying to sell Braden by using cute language or making promises of being in the two deep.

I'm sure coach Long probably said something along the lines of ... you keep working hard, learn the offense and you have a good shot at being in the two deep. Braden hears, Coach Long says I will be in the two deep. Coach Long says "without a doubt, you "could" be a kick returner. Braden hears, I will be a kick returner. If neither of those things happens, Braden feels lied to and transfers. It won't mean much when Coach Long responds, I said you "could", meaning it is in the realm of possibility. You shoot absolutely straight with this kid and no "sales job".
Yup...i love kids who are "glass is half full", and brimming with confidence...how that applies to recruiting discussions and expectations...that can get awkward real fast. I hope he walked through the weight room when Coney was in there...instant perspective!

That's precisely when his grandmother gets sick and he transfers to UCLA.

...i laughed...wonder if BK will try and stop him...that didn't go well the last time....In hindsight Eddie avoided the BVG experience...and his presence may have added more time to the BVG clock. I say win-win on that one.

I remember Eddie having a good freshman year, then got injured, and then what??

Did he go to the NFL??

I wonder if that sumthin' isn't an 11th hour kick to BK's nads...

20 years ago that picture would have sealed it for me...would have reminded me of Aaron Taylor's guys getting together on their recruiting trip and just knowing...if we all go here, we got this.

I think JL willl have fun everywhere he goes until he picks his place.

I kinda think he's test driving the look....kinda like a pictorial version of saying it out loud to see how it sounds.

maybe I'll be catching flies in my pie hole here in a few days...lord knows I miss Will Fuller.

Why would he travel that far and say no to a photo opportunity? This is ND putting on the full court press (flowers, movie, dinner and drinks afterward). He probably went home with a nice portfolio of pics that he can put on the fireplace mantel.

Good for them. Hope he buys in to real Mario Cristobal... we know he's not going anywhere with his, umm, "stellar" head coaching resume...

Stay west, Braden. Stay west.

Do you think this plays out like an Aaron Lynch scenario if he comes to ND?
