I would be surprised if it’s not an Achilles. Bigger question is partial or complete

That's almost certainly what it was, but him walking on it at all afterwards was surprising so it could be something else. 99% of the time you see that "explosion" it's an Achille's rupture.

This type of injury is one where I feel like having to stick my head into a trash can.

Linebacker room which was loaded is getting a little thin now. Feel horrible for Paul, hopefully he can recover 100%.

Looking forward to seeing it.

I hate seeing these guys go down. We’re losing some warriors right now. A football team without Liufau, Moala, Bauman, Fisher, and at least for last week, Botelho, is less physical than the one that does.

Saw that earlier. Lot of emotions and drama right now, but Kelly put a lot into this program. 12 seasons is a long time, especially in this stressful environment. Its the longest for anyone at ND. We're much better off than we were 12 years ago, lets not forget the good stuff and the momentum forward like the field, stadium, etc.

Surprising... I would have thought he would be a shoo in for some solid PT at rover next year.

Pryor is gone and Kiser should be a backup will. Bertrand should be a STer.

Moala has torn each achilles now. That will be tough to come back from. A guy at his position cannot afford to lose a step and he probably will.

He's a grad transfer and he's not playing much at all with the guys coming back and coming in. Good luck to him. He'll always have that pick 6 v Navy.

That was a great play for the pick 6/fumble return against Navy. It's a shame the injury bug hit him, would love to have seen his career if he could stay healthy. Best of luck Paul and I will always remember his TD against Navy.

Now he’ll find out what Davonte did.

Good for him. Best of luck on his next chapter.

I forgot that Idaho had dropped to the FCS a few years ago.

I've had surgeries on each foot that required detaching my Achilles. I'm not (and never was) a high level athlete outside of wrestling and I was a shell of my (mediocre) self after.
