To add, his teammate Okiyor will be visiting. Matt Freeman on ISD believes that this has more to do with ND not having a home game.

He had a game winning TD in OT to capture the sectional championship Friday night as well.

He had 3 rushes for 3 TD's this year due to the hamstring injury he suffered on the first play from scrimmage in game 1.

That's a long time for a pulled hammy. First reports said he'd only be out 2 games. Turned into 8.

Best to let it fully heal... better to not do any further damage, focus on the next level

Love the kid's efforts

Me too, what a great ambassador for ND. With his energy and the base we have for 2018 recruiting already, hard not to think we get a top 10 class. Now we need to win some games.

Nice! He's a GREAT running back to boot. I have a feeling he shows up next fall healthy and bigger, stronger, faster and by the end of the season is a top 150 recruit. Judging by his film, the signs are there that he will be a great college running back. I like the future combination of Tony Jones Jr., CJ Holmes and Markese Stepp. Staff is looking for a second '18 RB as well.

I saw McIntosh in Matt Balis' Interview video on WatchND. He looks like he has hire weights pretty hard.

So we shouldn't worry about him and LSU or Georgia? Or is that still a thing?

Received a Miami offer recently. He now has offers from LSU, UM, Tennessee, Miami, Georgia, MSU, and Missouri.

I'm glad the staff got on him early and that he's from Indiana and goes to a Catholic high school. If he was from down south I might be a little worried.

Goes to same HS as Pete Werner.

Junior Day Buzz | Irish Sports Daily

Not sure if people were reading the ISD stories from this weekend, but Stepp has been crootin' like crazy. Crusader, make sure to upgrade the car you drop off. But of everything I read about this weekend, what made me happiest was a little tidbit hidden away in the story I have linked above. Looks like power run game and H backs are making a comeback to South Bend.

Idk. Dayne Crist was the ring leader of that 2008 class. I can see what Tom is saying.

He said he's the last guy ND had. That's what I was disagreeing with. CJ Holmes was very good last year

I hear that. But I don't know if Holmes was in the same level as them. But not really important.

Just as long as Holmes and Stepp don't have the same college career as Dayne.

Agreed. I can't stop thinking of CJ Holmes as the second coming of CJ Prosise. But if they recognize that in year one instead of so late with Prosise that would be pretty good. If Stepp's play is anywhere near his social game - and you have to think it might be - he will be amazing.

I love Stepp as an every down back. He reminds me of a healthy James Aldridge. Can't wait to see how his career pans out.
