Time to treat them like LaLumiere in LaPorte if they want to be the Midwest IMG. They shouldn't be allowed in the HS playoffs.

In other news...

This should be interesting to follow with Markese and the younger kids like Roman Purcell with ND connections.

Chatard is 3A and Jeffersonville I've never heard of. Center Grove will eat Cathedral's lunch along with banging girlfriends...that one won't be close. They play all these out of state teams (recruiting tactic, private school) but could go up the road a 5 or 6 miles and get smashed by Warren, if they want...but that isn't as cute.

I'm not a big fan of Cathedral, if that isn't already apparent.

Not watching the video...blah.

May have to do with participating in the other sports. Don't know if the IHSAA allows a school to be a member for just certain sports if the IHSAA already sponsors them. They were dropped because they didn't accumulate enough points.

Per the IHSAA
c. If a school in any enrollment class achieves a tournament series success point value of six (6) points or greater in a specific sport during the previous reclassification period, such school shall move up to the next available higher enrollment class for the next
reclassification period.

e. If a school which has participated in a higher enrollment class during the previous
reclassification period achieves a tournament series success point value of Two (2) points or less in a specific sport, such school shall be placed in the classification immediately below the classification previously occupied for the next reclassification period.

Jeffersonville is a 6A school in the same sectional as Center Grove. School is across the river from Louisville.

Wow! What a game. Louisville Trinity 42, Warren Central 41. Failed two point conversion at the end for WC.

Where is this smoke coming from? Outside of some random poster on ISD claiming it without substantiating it, I can't see anything. Freeman spoke with Mr. Stepp and they haven't spoken to UM since January.

I know that I am certainly not an insider, but I spoke to a teacher of his and she made it sound like he might struggle with academics.

IMO...if we were to lose one...he'd be it. I don't think he is all that great.

At lest he didn't get one of those sh!t, 4000 student, public school educations. Indy football is good for one reason, the dominant schools all have a gazillion kids. Carmel, BD and WC should all be split in two. Carmel maybe in 3.

I'm bit of a Hippocratic...grew up in WC school system and didn't go to Warren myself. A couple different HS later we're beating...never, ever lost to Cathedral. Difference is I was the only one. All my teammates grew up in the CYO system...at both schools. And I wasn't even a "footballl" player (although pretty good), but a baseball guy.

Markese will be on ESPNU in late Semptember, playing yet another KY school.

Ryle to play on ESPNU, CovCath tops AP poll

Unlike their last game against a KY school, Cathedral should handle this one pretty easily... but if their defense doesn't improve, Ryle could rush for 250+ and try to salt the game away.

We'll probably see 500 total yards of rushing in the game, if not more. Stepp should have a big night in late September.
