No, they absolutely did not. Leapfrogged higher rated teams, including Michigan State who beat them head to head. Absolutely disgraceful that they got such a favorable match in a plumb bowl for no reason whatsoever.

NICK PETIT-FRERE
The situation: Thought by some to be the nation’s top tackle, the athletic offensive lineman will have the chance to show that he has the football skills to go with his immense upside. The lowest-ranked prospect on this list, he would make quite a leap to five-star status, but bigger jumps have been made in the past.

Farrell’s Take: “The top tackle I’m interested in seeing. He has a great frame to build on and the length and feet to be special. Can he be aggressive and physical on a consistent level and show that he can keep his balance and not overstep against speed rushers? That will be part of the key when evaluating Petit-Frere.”

Irish Illustrated's latest recruiting podcast had Loy and I think Couv both had Nicky Little Bro ending up Irish

It was just the Couv. Loy said we're in it and one of his favorites but couv went as far as saying he's be slightly surprised if nd didn't get him.

Can confirm...this is why Wooly's mom is so fat too. Rack em don't care tho!

Been real busy lately, gang. So when I got a chance to catch up and read this note... my heart just melted.

Love y’all, mean it.

Go Irish!

Last biggest want in this class. Get him and miss on the rest I’d still be ecstatic.

He still has visits to take that could completely change everything. ND may have the lead now, but long way to go before he decides.

Some staff members at ISD are "doubtful" he chooses ND. Staying close to home wins out in the end and apparently "FSU" is making a serious move here.

I really don't have an opinion on where he'll go cuz there's nothing out there that would give me the ability to come up with an educated guess but...

after watching a long interview with him from the UA AA game, it sounds like he'd be best off at ND. He's not your average egg.

It might be just me, but it seems like most of the people at ISD are Negative Nancies. I'm learning to take their bad news with a grain of salt.

I feel like they tend to be pessimistic at times. Usually that's because if they feel optimistic about a prospect and they relay that to subscribers, and then God forbid he goes elsewhere, they get crushed for it.

Just my opinion.

Also agree with Crusader that I'm not sure anyone really knows where he's going or where he's leaning. I think this recruitment has a couple big visits left. I was just passing along some info.

Questions:
Do you think education is as important to him as some seem to think?
Do you think distance is a greater factor to him than the track record of the OL coach he'll play for?

Yes, I know there is no set answer as he is a complete mystery. Considering he is such a mystery and obviously avoids the spotlight, what role do you think that plays in his recruiting?
