Man, can you imagine if there were 8 legit South Bend prospects and Michigan came in and took half of them?

Nope, it really is unbelievable. That's one of the tamer posts too, the board is in complete meltdown mode. ND fans complain about our lack of recruiting success as compared to other top programs -- rightfully so most of the time given the history and prestige of the ND name.

But I can't imagine how miserable it is being a fan of a school like Pitt. Good history, lots of local talent -- but now they are stuck in a conference as an afterthought without a rival and used as a perpetual stepping stone for coaches looking for the next good job. The WPIAL is stacked this year and most of those kids won't even give them a look.

Regarding Jeter specifically, ND should be prepared to continue to recruit him all the way to signing day. His brother is on the Pitt bball team, so he will be on campus all the time and Narduzzi's staff will stay on him.

Welcome Donovan! You're the bright light of a rather dark ND football weekend.

Our coaches need to start putting the right mix on the field to get pressure on the QB. Is there a reason why Nyles Morgan hasn't rushed the QB at all this year from what I recall? or maritini like they did in years past? Daelin Hayes need to be starting thats a given kid is a baller, but let him lose not drop back covering WR's or slot guys

He's our best cover guy.

Pete Kwiatkowski - Washington

Kwiatkowski has never been out of the pacific northwest and has been tied to the tip to Chris Petersen for 10 years. Orlando is from Pittsburgh, played at Wisconsin and has coached in Pennsylvania, Florida and Texas. Turned down the Wisconsin DC job when Aranda left.

100% agree. Let the kid start at WDE and get experience. Let him pin his ears back on passing downs.

Sadly this is actually true. That play he made to tip the ball reminded me of Jaylon his freshman year dropping into coverage and picking off the USC QB.

Dude, he was all over that play. He wasn't tripping over himself and jumping early and slipping, just covering like a boss. Trumbetti, on the other hand, should never try that again!!!!!

It's called being an athlete. Lol.

Doug Fluite fell out of his season on that play.

He was like: A DE 30 yards down the field, making a play on the ball and he is a true freshman!

Just remember, no matter how much BVG sinks our program -- we will never be as hopeless as Pitt.

Good pick up! I would be outright amazed if he didn't start out as an EE with a brand new D coach, but I digress.

That picture on pg 1 doesn't do him justice. Just saw that TP started following on IG and looked at his profile. He is leaned out and much more muscular now. Looks more like a DE than DT now.

I think this ends the chances for guys like Jerron Cage. ND would still take a true edge rush DE.

Jeter is much more comparable to J Hayes rather than I Rochelle, IMO.

Very true. We live in a world where everyone is offended by the smallest comment even if it has nothing to do with you in particular. It's kind of sad actually.
