Scout: Michael Young appears solid to Notre Dame, but he is not ruling out other visits
Visiting for Stanford. Sounds like it will take quite a bit if he were to flip. Denson and Denbrock are on him (Coaching changes at ND was my feeling)

I have long thought (and this is a 30 something w perspective so it's different, I know.. but still) that if I were in these kid's shoes I would tell Notre Dame straight off... if you are offering me, I'm all Irish, done deal,..... but if you don't want me to take my visits let's hold off on making it official because these visits are once in a lifetime opportunities that I'm taking full advantage of...

All 5 and every unofficial I could drive to because unofficials today are officials without the travel reimbursement. That's what we used to call being a swag magnet back in the day.
Not sure I understand your premise...but here's my take.
ND offered
Young decided to accept ND's offer
ND accepted his commitment
Young has now decided to take other visits
OK
If Young wants to take other visits
Then
ND should have the opportunity to move on if another athlete wants to commit to that now open slot.
Bottom line...Athlete has every right to take other visits but should lose the guaranteed safety net.

My premise was non-specific, just my general thoughts on visits...
... In my opinion I would take every single visit I could, even being a total ND lifer who would jump on an offer instantaneously... if the offer and commitment were contingent on not taking any visits I would respectfully explain that going to ND and taking these visits are both once in a life time opportunities and I'd love to be able to do both...

Just watched his new Sr. Film on Hudl. He has more sped and cutting ability than I thought. IMO he's a very slightly less fast version of Calvin with anther inch and ten more pounds and hits like he's 220. Super underrated.
Maybe I'm way off but the more I see Micheal Young the more he reminds me of former OU and current NY Giant Sterling Shepard.
Funny thing is that Calvin reminds me of another NY Giant WR. He remind s me very much of a pre-injured Victor Cruz.

In all seriousness. The clothing needs a makeover and I'm finally willing to accept Mr. Young's gonna make it to South Bend. That's great news.

Agreed. It looks like something out of The Joker's wardrobe.
