I'm about 10 beers deep so please show me where I fcked up

I'll let you figure it out in the morning.

Edit: I understand what you're trying to say. You meant the other teams that were listed alongside Bama and OSU.

Yes, it's a fcking stretch you guys didn't beat a single quality team last year. Then in the biggest game of the year you get your doors blown off. Congrats on beating Florida who struggled to complete a forward pass.

Who is your QB gonna be? Wilton Speight lol, please tell me outside of Chesson who is playing WR? Butt is a nice TE but Harbaugh will always force the ball to the TE's. Sure Harbaugh can coach but he had a loaded San Fran roster and had Andrew Luck as a QB so of course he's gonna look good. He's a hell of a coach but you don't have a top 4 roster in college football. Need to remember most of those kids are Brady Hoke players plus you have a brand new defense. Give me a break the hype surrounding Michigan this year is due to what? You guys also have a joke of a schedule OFC so that will help you and you guys will be beating your chest when you beat those teams you should beat by 40 but Wilton Speight as a QB do you really think he can guide a team to the playoffs? I know Harbuagh knows a thing or too about QB coaching but I don't see what makes you guys different from some of the teams I'll list below. How about you beat MSU or OSU first?

Bama
LSU
OSU
Stanford
ND
FSU
Oklahoma
hell even MSU roster over yours

It's also not like you have Urban or Saban as a coach where the coaching is 5x better than the coaches that coach the teams I listed above. You guys have been so average to below average for forever and then one 9 win season with Lord Harbaugh and you're back and running into the playoffs with pretty much Brady Hokes roster. Sorry but I am just not buying it at all. Feel free to bump this post in January and I'll eat as much crow as you would like me too

It's not a stretch because:

A. They're schedule sucks balls and so they only have to be up for a very limited number of games, and...

B. They're in the top 10(ish) of pretty much every early poll.

So even though you and I might think they're overrated, putting a team with an easy schedule, a top-tier (jackass) coach, and a top 10 ranking (top 5 with some experts) into the playoff isn't really a big stretch IMO.

You make a good point I pointed out their schedule I just wanna see them beat MSU or OSU first.

See, here's the thing about wolverine fans...their team is automatically better than OSU and it is never a question to them that MSU is infinitly inferior to them by divine right. Therefore, they have already beaten those teams (as well as anyone else on their schedule) and deserve a top ranking.

If you talk to them about any close game they lost to either team, they actually won it, but got robbed/ripped off/cheated EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Michigan fans are the worst. Everyone of them is a bonafide jackass, too. It's amazing how different U of M and MSU fans act around here. There is a huge difference.

Lorenzo kind of hinted that it would have been a ND/ Michigan battle but we never offered because Michigan had such a head start. Also this homer/loser states this

Ducksworth said... (original post)

If you had to pick a playoff right now, who would you have?

Clemson, Oklahoma, Alabama, Michigan.

I'm going with the 4 teams I believe have the best rosters on paper.

many laughs Steveo Lorenzo

ESPN: Alabama will repeat, and nine other 2016 season predictions

Schlabach picks Michigan, Clemson, Bama and Oklahoma

If you assume that each Power conference gets their champ in except for the PAC12 (because the PAC12 has too much parity), then naturally you would pick Clemson/FSU, Bama/LSU/Tenn, Oklahoma, and Michigan/Ohio State. There is no doubt that Michigan is the conference favorite at this time, but could obviously be an underdog Ohio State if Ohio State's defense gells by the end of the season when they play.

I dislike Michigan as much as the next guy but I don't think it should come as that much of a shock that folks are picking them to make the playoff. Their schedule is cake. They basically play 2 real games all year. The conference sucks and on top of that, they put Hawaii, UCF, and Colorado as their non-conference. They literally picked the worst team from the Pac12, lol. Plus their first 5 games are all at home. So, I'll actually be shocked, pleasantly mind you, if they aren't in that conversation.

Good news is UM & OSU both go to E. Lansing and UM goes to Columbus. If MSU holds serve, ND controls it's destiny.

his team is getting worked on national TV

yeah I saw that. McCaffrey looked OK. His official stat-line was 18 of 24 for only 205 yards and 1 TD vs 0 INT. I counted 2 drops watching, but they would've been kinda tough catches. McCaffrey had a bad over-throw on a guy that was open deep and would've been 6 if he was on target. McCaffrey also had a receiving touchdown on a trick play and ran 12 times for 56 yards and 1 TD.

I liked what I saw from him. I think he's pretty athletic for being a 6'5 pocket QB. Some of those runs of his aren't going to work on the next level. Obviously. But he's not a complete statue like Michigan QB's of old like Navarre and Henne. He can run a little bit.

His team got worked along both lines of scrimmage. Saguaro beat them up in the trenches bad.

I don't think McCaffrey looked great or terrible. He just looked pretty solid.

This. He did nothing out of this world but played within himself and the game. Well done.

Well since they both want to play QB that wouldn't make sense. Although some who follow Nebr football don't think their guy's best position is QB.

Yeah, that was my thinking. Article on the NEBR McCaffrey (yesterday on The Athletic) had a comment section chock full of he needs to change positions, has no touch, no accuracy, etc.
