How long until NDNation has a thread where somebody vows never to support BK and his team because they play guys who drink underage?

Just to be clear, I have no gut feeling about this one way or the other. In the old days of the net, rumors had a lot more validity. Today with Twitter and IG, even I could start a hum-dinger in less than an hour.

He's in a boot, we'll know something today from the talking heads.

You sure he isn't 21? It's the time of year where his class starts celebrating the big 21.

"Even I", as if we don't already suspect you of having enormous clout. Somehow, probably has something to do with the Illuminati.

His birthday is in December, I believe. Sanford tweeted that they were celebrating it in December back in 2015 anyways.

.

I have a hard enough time remembering my family member's birthdays and you can remember BW's?

I heard he was in a fight and overthrew his punch due to bad footwork. Ended up falling down and breaking a bone. I blame Rees for the bad mechanics.

Rees was probably more focused on the mental side rather than mechanics. Brandon, just make sure you don't hit a cop.

If Wimbush is actually hurt, I don’t think it is that problematic.

The way this offence is set up, great line, great running backs, big receivers.... book could easily run it to win at unc

Although I don't think UNC should be taken lightly, I don't think it's UNC folks are worried about. It's the USC's, Miami's, and Stanford's of the world that worry fans. Yes, Book is serviceable, but there's a reason Wimbush is starting over Book.

Don’t disagree, but I have enough confidence in Book that he won’t lose games if he is playing. He is solid enough to keep the offence moving forward. The problem is , what if he gets hurt.

Saw he had the boot last night...which is why I mentioned in the post game Miami thread people wanting to see more of Book may get there wish. Cannot tell you the severity of the injury but as soon as I hear something I will pass it on. Rumors flying all over about what happened so I do not want to add to that. However, with North Carolina not being a big challenge, I would not be surprised if they held him out this week if it is a minor injury to heal for USC.

According to Sampson on the podcast, the boot is a real thing but he is expected to play on Saturday.

Actually not a good thing for a qb who does need work on his read progressions and mechanics. Hopefully he is 100% to start the bye week

Wasn’t this recorded before all of the rumors started that it was actually broken from a bar incident?

No. They were asking for questions for the podcast at 8:22am PST per Sampson's tweet. I heard about the rumor before that. The guys I got it from both think it's just part of the same silly rumor, either that or the guy on campus can't get any better info.

I'm gonna stay with it's football related as that makes me feel better.

What do you mean? VanGorder has been waiting for his time to shine for 3 years.

Any idea on the severity?

not very ND of him to break his foot now, most ND QB's would wait till a few days before the usc game

Hopefully Dad4aa pops in with the scoop.

My buddy sent me a text this morning from South Bend saying, "rumor is, Wimbush broke a bone in his foot outside a bar last night." But said he got one text about it and nothing else. So that ain't news.

Sounds like Sampson knows about it but either is sitting on it or doesn't know anything, possibly because there's nothing to report.

I guess I could check into it, ND's staff podiatrist played for me in college.

Who are you? You are a legend man.

I should hear something tomorrow and I will pass it along. However, if I was a betting man, I would bet on him not playing this week.
