Two reasons I'm posting this:

1. Patrick's older brother committed to FSU, which makes them the heavy favorite to land Patrick according to Mike Farrell of Rivals.

2. Melanie Collins might be the hottest chick in the recruiting game right now. Definitely a 5-star recruit.

I don't like ant as a human being, but he was fun. At least I enjoyed the antics his posts created. I hope he at least went out in a raging flame of weirdness. Complete with mic drops about 17 year old male buttocks and daily bible studies.

My guess is he took a shot at one of our current commits in the Knox thread. Check there for more details.

JC over at 247 says that Michigan is the school to look out for right now.

Patrick's cousin coaches at a high school in Detroit and he has other family in the area. He's also become friendly with Michigan commits WR George Campbell (from the same area) and RB Damien Harris (the two have talked about playing together for awhile now).

There are questions as to just how hard Florida is recruiting him, and Miami is definitely behind FSU. FSU is probably the team to beat, but Michigan is right in the thick of things right now. Might explain why they haven't been pushing for a Mikey Weber commit.

Damien Harris and Jacques Patrick would be a fantastic RB haul.

Highly touted Orlando Timber Creek RB Jacques Patrick has narrowed his list of 47 FBS college scholarship offers to 10 schools, doing so during a Sentinel video shoot Tuesday, his 17th birthday.

His narrowed list of schools, in alphabetical order, is: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee and UCF.

Patrick, the No. 1-ranked player in the Sentinel’s 2015 Central Florida Super60, wore an FSU sweatshirt to the video shoot, but said the Seminoles were not necessarily his favorite team. He laughed and said he was “cold.” He also said he was paying tribute to the BCS National Champion Seminoles.

The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder said he would like to make a decision by late September or early October, but will push that back if he cannot take all of his allotted five official recruiting visits before then.

Scout: Same top 10 as above but Tennessee falling and others have picked it up. The top 10 may change with new schools recruiting hard. Ultimately, he wants to have a top 5 by the end of summer and then take 5 OVs to those schools. Plans to decide in October. Sounds like FSU's to lose.
