Skrong
Skrong is more a way of life than anything; it can't be summarized in a definition. Skrong is when you hit you pipe way too hard and you get where you need to be. Skrong is when you wake up and you see you have 10 more minutes to sleep. Skrong is when your homie brings home a handle of vodka; and is willing to share. Skrong is life. Skrong is what we should all be. Without skrong, we would no longer exist. Skrong makes life worth living. Skrong is a refreshing splash of water when you are thirsty. Skrong is the friend that helps you up when you fall down. Sometimes in life, its hard to get back on the horse; but skrong will always be there to pick you up when you have fallen.

Basically Trumbetti is making fun of Winston because Jameis can't speak? I love it, same guy who almost someone got into Stanford.
Same guy that obviously doesn't belong at Stanford or any other major college for that matter
Right.
Side note: I love ya GB but your becoming quite the SECish apologist these days. If you truly believe that Winston belongs at Stanford, more power to ya. However, that might be the last person I think belongs there. This is a dude that yelled out to people "F her in her Pu$$y." Real word talk, that is the most asanine thing I've ever heard. That crap doesn't fly in the real world. In fact, if he did that in my office. I would fire his butt immediately and I'd be willing to bet the women in this office would be insanely pissed. I would facilitate them following through on any legal action they wanted to. Its time to wake up a bit to what actually goes on out there.
I really don't think Trumbetti was trying to take shots at Winston's intelligence or ability to go to Stanford. I think he probably found an awesome picture of a hit he delivered and used a common meme (the "skrong" stuff) to have a little fun with the reigning Heisman winner.
He may not belong at Stanford, but he would have been better off going there. Let's face it, coming out of HS, going to place with a certain atmosphere can either help you change, or validate pre-existing behavior. I'm sure there are plenty of kids with skrong tendencies who somehow got in to schools like Stanford, ND, etc., and came out a different person. I believe the Bus is one of those IIRC his pre-college days. I'm certainly not saying Winston wouldn't have failed at Stanford, but he would have at least got the proper mentoring and discipline.
lol I was just pointing out that Jameis Winston got into Stanford and almost went there some how. That's it fellas
Like Tiger Woods.
I can think of hundreds of things worse than yelling an internet meme, f#ck her in the pussy, to a bunch of college kids.
And how many check marks does Winston have on your list???
Fall Outlook
When the Irish enter fall camp, Trumbetti will continue to push for playing time behind Okwara. The senior is favored at rush end, but Trumbetti will make his way onto the field in some capacity this fall.
“(The transition) slowed him a little bit, just because of the learning part of it,” Gilmore said. “But he’s playing hard, he’s playing physical, and he’ll be a guy that is right in there, not a starter. He’ll be in the rotation every week.”
Trumbetti was effective as a reserve in 2014 – his 5.5 tackles for loss were the most of any non-regular starter next to Matthias Farley, who started four times and appeared in all 13 games. And only four players—Jaylon Smith, Isaac Rochell, Jarron Jones and Sheldon Day—hit the quarterback more than the freshman.
The sophomore is someone to keep an eye on among the Irish defenders. His improvement in Year Two could be a big part of Notre Dame’s pass rush, and development is crucial considering he’ll be expected to take over as the starting rush end in 2016.
Final thoughts
1st down, defeat a block and set the edge on a run play to help secure a 2 yard loss. 2nd down, cover one of the best tight ends in the country man to man. 3rd down, pressure (and hit) the quarterback forcing a bad pass. This is the type of versatility we expect from a freak athlete like Jaylon Smith. Instead it's what Andrew Trumbetti did against Florida State on consecutive plays. Pretty impressive. Keep an eye on Trumbetti this year, he might just surprise you.
OFD's Larz just published a film breakdown of Trumbetti's play against FSU. It's heavy on the Xs and Os, so it doesn't lend itself to being created here, but it's well worth your time.
The hype is real.
let's just hope it is consistent.
I haven't been following him play to play, but Trumbetti is really popping out to me as doing a good job setting the edge and containing JT this game
Anyone know why he didn't play more this year?
