Did anyone see this: Inside Word: Tennessee, USC, Maryland, Auburn, Texas A&M?

It's Ryan Bartow again and he says that Yeargin recently reached out to USC with high interest and possibly wanted to flip but there wasn't mutual interest....

This is BS right? The same article is sticking to the Loy narrative that the staff hasn't accepted McKenzie's commitment yet and that we need to be looking over our shoulder at VT. Does this guy just make shits up?

That doesn't even make sense. This is the same guy that ran a misleading article quoting "WVU insiders" that McKenzie was a "heavy" lean to WVU and that's where he wanted to go.

Yeargin reaching out to USC to flip? I mean he had high interest in them and Florida and many people have pegged him as a guy that could potentially end up at UF if they want him... but the idea that he reached out to USC with no contact from them and they told him "no" with the shape their recruiting class is currently in AND the fact that they were all over him early in the cycle is pretty damn illogical.

So Loy responded to my question saying this is the first he's heard of VT and McKenzie and he's going to check with him today about it. Then he said that he'll talk to Yeargin today but he doesn't see him going anywhere. Hopefully Wiltfong will give some insight but thats what I got for now. Again, I think its Bartow being a Dbag.

Jake Brown talked to Yeargin III and he completely shot down 24/7's report. Said it was not true and he wanted the false report taken down.

He hung out with Jaylon (his host) and the Florida guys on the visit, and had a great time.

To be honest, Wiltfong can suck it too. Making that comment was completely unprofessional. I see why Loy fits in so well there. Those guys are more concerned about getting a "hot scoop" instead of professional journalism or the well being of our program.

The comment may have been unprofessional, BUT of course he had to mention Loy. If he's mentioning his old colleague then he'd mention his current one as well. And wiltfong does not reach for "inside scoops" that do not exist. Also, their job has nothing to do with the well being of our program.

Why did Wilfong chirp Sampson? I really like Sampson and he is far from a ND homer. My favorite ND mod by far.

Difference is Sampson is more a professional journalist and not a fan like Mike Frank or some of the other mods at the different sites. Sampson is originally from Grand Rapids, MI and grew up as a MSU basketball fan actually. I am not sure if he is really a fan like the rest of the us.

Wiltfong brings a lot to the table in regards to recruiting coverage and is better in that area than Sampson and Rivals. Rivals is good at covering the team in general and has a more interactive message board. Recruiting news is more of 247's niche. They are both good. Wiltfong was only calling out what Pete said about a mod on 247 that called for Mckenzie to WVU. He might have gone too far but Wiltfong is the best in recruiting coverage.

Wiltfong posted an apology for loosing his cool. If Pete would have directed his comment at Bartow and not 247 I don't think Wiltfong says anything. Either way it made for some interesting reading, haha.
