IF it was 4.4 that was reported, I agree, but here is your post that says 4.5s. Did you strike the wrong key (5 instead of 4)?

Was indeed the wrong key. 4.4 would be super sick, but at 6'5 I think 4.5 will do the trick.

Ironman and BGIF have a rivalry of some sort, like a high school rivalry or something ;)

Something like that :) Although I'm going to try and not bring that up this year - I think this fall they are unfortunately going to end our streak. Hope I am wrong.

Back to the Not So Little Admiral.

need to keep in mind too how difficult it really is to lower your 40 time by even .1 of a second

I would like to say something. I will bet that when Corey first attends Notre Dame he will be measured at 6'6" to 6'8". I think he will follow his dad's weight pattern too. I bet he will be 215 to 220Lbs; and I bet he will nearly be a 4.5 second flat 40. My prediction is that his hard work will be seen in his more explosive acceleration and his greater upper body strength. I bet he and JO are comparing notes. Any takers?

It's very tough but seems to happen with more frequency when a player's coach is holding the watch.

This game was at my old high school, so I decided to go to watch Corey. The dude is massive. He absolutely dwarfed everyone on his team and the opponent's. He had two kids hanging on him on every ball thrown his way, and he caught most of them. At one point he got next to St. Micheal's coach Calvin Schiraldi (Some of you might remember him, he was the losing pitcher for game 6 and 7 of the 85 or 86 world series) who is 6' 5" and he was as tall if not taller

Nice! Thanks for the insight! Are you going to head to any other of Corey's games this year? I'd love to hear how he progresses through the year.

No problem. I may go to another one of his games, but the competition his team plays is extremely weak, so there's not much to be seen as far as evaluating his play. I could score a touchdown against the teams he plays (I actually did, 3 years ago).

According to the Admiral's twitter, Corey had 4 receiving touchdowns tonight. The last one was a 70 yarder but the 2 point try failed and his team lost by 2.

I really feel like we got a gem with this kid! Great attitude, great pedigree, and he hasn't even come near reaching his potential! Very excited to have him aboard!

Isn't the story that the Admiral gained like five or six inches at Navy?

He was supposed to be a good SF or maybe an undersized PF, then he turned into a 7 foot center?

I remember hearing that when I was a kid.

By his senior year in high school he was 6 feet, 7 inches tall, but he had not played organized basketball... By the time he took the court in his first basketball game for the Navy Midshipmen men's basketball team, he had grown to 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m), and over the course of his college basketball career he grew to 7 ft 0 in (2.13 m).

Per San Antonio Christian wide receiver coach Brandon Parrott -- Irish wide receiver pledge Corey Robinson had three catches for 70 yards and a touchdown in a 68-6 victory over Savio to close out the regular season.

WR commit Corey Robinson averaged 20-plus yards per catch tonight

Went to the game. His size and physical presence is incredible. He played 2 quarters at most, so his stats were impressive. With that being said, St. Dominic Savio is a brand new parochial school in Austin with a first year football team. The potential is absolutely there for Robinson to be a stud, but right now he plays against cornerbacks who couldn't even cover Dshans or Old Man Mike. I see him needing a year or two to adjust to the speed and physicality of D-1 college ball. The good news is he's putting up these stats while being constantly triple teamed and his jump ball ability is out of this world, so he could turn out to be a very good red zone threat for ND.

Corey Robinson - Highlight Videos, Schedule & Roster - Hudl

Didnt see this posted anywhere. I would imagine that this kid gets a ratings bump after this season and maybe a good AA scene. High points the ball extremely well and his route running is improving a lot. Very small details to look at is him coming back for the ball on a lot of his routes. Excited about his future.
