I LOL'd
Glad you like the joke. On a more serious note I did just watch his senior highlights and shockingly came away unimpressed. He also is not a burner.

If you haven't seen Folstons senior highlights here they are I feel like I have been bamboozled by his sophomore highlights

I think Folston has great speed. Lots of people thought K Russell looked "slow" last year and were unimpressed by some of his track numbers. I think we all realize now, especially after going up against M Lee, what a fantastic athlete he is.
Note: I'm not comparing the two players, as they both have different measurable.
Uhh, he looked fast to me.
Not saying he (Bryant) won't be a hybrid, but he doesn't have the outright speed and slot shiftiness a typicaly hybrid would have. He's more of a between the tackles power back. Take a look at his film and you'll see what I mean when I say power. Won't be brought down by the first guy, and will punish a D all game long. Not saying he'll never catch out of the backfield, but we have better options IMO. Hunter yes (I read the same thing), but with the way the WR crop is shaking out, he's pobably more needed as a pure Z or an outside guy. This could change, but we're pretty stacked at the hybrid IMO, especially if we pick up Folston.
what do you consider fast?

A kid that outruns most of his competition.
Is his speed your only concern? His vision and elusiveness seem elite to me. I'd love to add him to our class.
Looks faster than Gillislee, Burton, and James who all seem to be doing well in the swamp. Also, considering the fact that our offensive line trumps yours, I like his chances to suceed if he lands in South Bend. You dont have to be a "burner" to be effective. Montee Ball is not setting records around the track but seems to have faired well at Wisky.
why are you trying to compare him to gator players? And where did I say he wouldn't succeed?
Because Im sure youve seen youre share of Florida football games and would have a pretty good idea of the game speed that each play at.
Never said you let on that he wouldnt succeed, just stating in my own right that I think he will be just fine.
Ive seen plenty of players with amazing highschool highlight films come out and be duds at the next level. Speed is not the only thing that should make or break a film. Maybe its not the first thing that jumps off the film but his technique, vision, and ability to read and cut behind his blocks are impressive.
I watch film for everything you mentioned. I said he was not a burner because that was a part of the discussion if you look at the post above. To you those other attributes might have been impressive they were not to me. I will say when you put all his attributes together you have a good football player just not an exceptional one. That is just my opinion. Nothing wrong with signing good football players.
I think his highlights (what I've seen of them so far) are very impressive. He makes guys miss, runs through tackles, and looks to have speed in the 4.4s to me.
He also does all this with defenses knowing exactly what's coming at them. I mean did you see how many TDs he scored off two plays?
props to the O line for that too
Looks like Isaiah Peed's film in high school.
Pead actually.
Not when it's past tense.
